Who Says an Alpha Can't Be a Demon Consort?

Xie Xuezhi was pretty unlucky. An Alpha, he transmigrated into the body of a male consort candidate about to take part in the selection in the Tiansheng Dynasty. If he wasn't chosen, he'd have to return to the abuse of his stepmother and "stepfather."

To make matters worse, the current emperor was a bloodthirsty tyrant. They said he killed people in court at the slightest provocation, ignored the people's welfare to build palaces, and had killed his brothers, father, sons, and wife.

Looking at his head towering above the other candidates, Xie Xuezhi thought he might as well die. The tyrant would have to be blind to choose someone as "sturdy" as him.

But the moment the tyrant appeared before him, Xie Xuezhi caught the scent of an Omega and tried releasing a little pheromone.

The tyrant looked at him. "Xie Xuezhi, keep his name on the list."

Xie Xuezhi: "??? I'm in? Just like that?"

After being granted the rank of a palace consort, Xie Xuezhi couldn't get enough to eat or wear in the palace. As he watched the Imperial Kitchen send all kinds of delicacies to the tyrant every day and thought about his approaching rut, he steeled himself and decided to compete for favor.

A chance encounter at Jiuzhou Pond.

Pheromones draw them together.

Every possible effort to mark him.

To the astonishment of the other male consorts in the harem, Xie Xuezhi rose rapidly through the ranks to become Imperial Noble Consort, the undisputed bewitching favorite.

The other male consorts rushed to imitate him, but the tyrant ignored them all. Whenever a handsome consort wept and asked the tyrant, "What does Xie Xuezhi have that I don't?"

Xie Xuezhi would smile at him and silently say, "Buddy, your tyrant is a bottom. You're not compatible."
