Where Are My Fish? [Farming]

Bai Zhengzheng transmigrates into a beast world and becomes a cat beastman living by the sea. He has black paw pads, round eyes, and a body small enough to fit in a palm. The beastmen of the Forest Cat Tribe are all small in their beast forms. They live in the woods by the shore, surviving by hunting small animals and gathering seafood. One day, Bai Zhengzheng happens to find a badly injured merfolk in a tide pool among the rocks. He treats his wounds, feeds him, gives him water, and even cuddles and hugs him... At last, he raises his merfolk to be absolutely gorgeous. But when he comes back from an outing, his fish is gone! Bai Zhengzheng decides to go look for him. * The forest has been abuzz lately. Word is that some merfolk has abandoned his mate and child and repaid kindness with betrayal. The cat beastman he left behind has searched from south to north, asking one tribe after another. How pitiful. When the Merfolk King hears the news, he instinctively pauses what he is doing. His subordinate says, "Your Majesty, our merfolk are all faithful for life. This fish is truly unworthy of being one of us." The Merfolk King's nose starts to itch. His subordinate says, "Please let me find that scoundrel and punish him according to our tribal laws!" The Merfolk King feels a chill run down his back. He agrees, then hurries through his tribe's affairs so he can go find his little cat. But instead, he sees Bai Zhengzheng storm in, point at his fish tail with red-rimmed eyes, and snap, "You heartless fish!" His subordinate: ...Beast God above! The king is the scumbag fish! The Merfolk King is both amused and touched. He lifts the cat-eared boy onto his tail. "I left you a message. Didn't you see it?" Bai Zhengzheng sniffs, hugs the tail curled around him as it tries to comfort him, and guiltily says, "I didn't see it." He can't admit that he accidentally tossed it into the sea and couldn't find it again. 2024/6/2 Theme: Take the initiative, and love will follow.
