As the one-and-only genius of the Dark Clan, Kars was cold and heartless from the moment he was born, with almost no capacity for empathy.

Dissatisfied with living underground, he used ruthless methods to conquer the sun, not hesitating to sacrifice his own kind to fulfill his ambitions.

His clan ostracized him for being different, but he didn't care. He immersed himself in his ideals, all alone.

Until the day a white-haired girl fell from the sky.

She coiled around him like a snake and stole a kiss from him. He was forced to become Lorna's guardian.

An invisible white collar appeared around Kars's neck, with the other end passing through Lorna's body.

The culprit blinked her innocent big eyes and wriggled along the ground after him in a twisted way. He couldn't shake her off. When he pushed her away, his heart ached so badly he nearly cried.

When he turned back, the girl was actually sobbing.

His collar was forcing him to share Lorna's senses.

Kars held back his tears and coaxed her helplessly: "Stop crying."

Lorna: "QAQ~ I want a hug! A bridal carry!"

Kars: "..."

So the other members of the clan were astonished to see the cold-blooded genius carrying a white-haired girl in his arms as he returned to his home.

From then on, they often saw Kars chasing after the white-haired girl, his expression changing by the second.

Lorna wanted to jump into a lava pool for a swim, so Kars quickly grabbed her by the collar and dug a channel from the lake aboveground to make her a swimming pool.

Lorna was about to cry because she couldn't get any tasty food, so Kars held her in his arms, eyes red, and made desserts with one hand.

Lorna ate something she shouldn't have and got a stomachache, so Kars clutched his own stomach and struggled to take her to the clan's doctor.

Every day, Kars thought about how to threaten Lorna into breaking their connection.

Until one day, a male member of the clan confessed to Lorna, and Kars felt his heart pound violently.

Sensing something was wrong, he gritted his teeth and followed Lorna.

For the first time, he felt jealousy.

He'd been raising this brat for so long and she still wasn't attached to him. He should have been ruthless and killed her.

Around the corner, he heard Lorna softly apologize:

"I'm his guardian star. A star will always be loyal to just one person."

Later, Kars became the Ultimate Lifeform, transcending the gods.

He was immortal, indestructible, and so powerful that nothing could harm him.

But nobody knew that after becoming a god, his one and only wish was...
