Huo Wujiao is a con artist who forged his resume and successfully got hired at a psychiatric hospital as a "professional psychiatric doctor." His daily job is to look after the patients, but what he doesn't know is that everyone else in the "psychiatric hospital," from the patients to the doctors and nurses, is actually an infinite-loop player from one of the many instances, or a monstrous boss from an instance.
Everyone in the hospital, human and monster alike, has to follow the hospital's rules. The most important one is: No OOC (out of character).
Huo Wujiao has no idea about any of this. No matter what bizarre things the doctors, nurses, and patients say or do, he remains completely unfazed.
In his eyes, the doctors, nurses, and patients all seem pretty crazy, but then again, this is a psychiatric hospital, so... ah, it all makes perfect sense now.
Huo Wujiao, cheerfully: Everyone's supposed to go crazy together in a psychiatric hospital! It's fine, this is normal! What, you say you're not crazy? Ahahahaha, then you must be completely insane! Don't worry, with me here you'll definitely get better! (Completely convinced) (Laughs brightly) (Throws them back into the ward, locks them up, and prescribes medication)
In the eyes of everyone else (?), Huo Wujiao is unfathomably mysterious:
No matter what they say or ask, he always has a ready answer. He never bats an eye at anything he sees. He easily sees through them, and he's always popping up out of nowhere just in time to scare the living daylights out of them... Most importantly, no one, human or monster, can figure out what he really is.
Infinite-loop players/instance bosses: Got it. This guy must be an absolute top-tier player/top-level instance boss!
Huo Wujiao, actually an ordinary con artist: I'm faking it, I'm faking it, I'm really good at faking it.jpg
Ah, another wonderful day of effortlessly doing a great job as a psychiatric doctor without anyone figuring out that I forged my resume! Thanks to the blind director who hired me and to my own clever, brilliant self^^
In the hospital, the real evil god director Yan Fengzhi, who hired him, smiles at him: What is my wife babbling about every day? I don't understand, but I want to kiss him.
A hilariously dishonest ordinary human on the receiving end x a straightforward evil god on the pursuing end who believes everything he's told
* The doctors and patients in the hospital are not fixed; they come and go. Only the protagonist stays.
This is really a daily-life story about everyone mistaking the protagonist for a big shot (? ).
The protagonist isn't just imperfect; he has a mountain of flaws and bad habits. He lies, forges documents, has no medical ethics, and prescribes drugs at random... In the real world, he'd be arrested. But since the love interest is an evil god, and not a single normal person can be found at their workplace, it's basically a case of one villain meeting another. So there are no bad endings in this story. If you dislike a villainous protagonist, please don't read this (.).
The author knows nothing about mental illness. The protagonist is a con artist, and all the doctors and patients in the hospital are fake, so professionals are not welcome to come debunk the story (hey).
