Peter Pan in Glasses

Yan Lingyi is a comic artist.

Not long ago, he suffered a double blow to his love life and career.

His boyfriend of many years dumped him.

His new work received scathing reviews and criticism from every direction.

Yan Lingyi broke down. "What do you mean I only know how to draw pathetic doormats, so I must be one in real life too?! What do they know about true love!"

A friend who draws romance comics suggested he try a brief relationship full of sexual tension.

"I'm not going to be a scumbag!"

"You could be the one getting played."

"...That makes sense."

Rong Zheng is a film producer.

Not long ago, he took advantage of a bit-player on set.

The guy was beautiful, sweet-voiced, and effortlessly charming. Even after being taken advantage of, he didn't make a fuss.

Producer Rong was very pleased and lined him up with plenty of opportunities.

By the end of the summer, the bit-player had run off.

Only then did Rong Zheng realize the guy hadn't been after his money.

He'd been after his body, and then he'd run off!!!

They met again at a copyright conference.

Yan Lingyi couldn't find his glasses. He signed something while still half asleep, and only then did he recognize Rong Zheng.

Rong Zheng spoke sarcastically. "A bit-player? Or the original author making a guest appearance?"

"Producer Rong," Yan Lingyi said, pushing up his glasses, "please don't act like I dumped you."

Rong Zheng sneered. "Didn't you?"
