After Going on a Supernatural Variety Show with My Ex

Xia Xun and his former partner used to be two equally popular top-tier stars. Then his former partner became a major movie star, while Xia Xun became an outdated pretty face.

A well-known pretty face in the entertainment industry, Xia Xun is timid and cowardly. But he signed up for a job without thinking, taking a spot on a paranormal variety show centered on thrills and horror.

The show's scripts have terrified countless celebrities. After appearing in one episode, they never want to return for another.

Xia Xun takes one look at the fee: I've already signed, so I might as well go.

Later, when the full guest list is revealed, Xia Xun spots his former partner's name at a glance.

Xia Xun: ...If he's there, I'd rather die than go!

Agent: How about you take a look at the cancellation fee?

Xia Xun: ...I'll go.

Movie star Jiang Yuchuan is aloof and languid, and hates physical contact. He's always been the untouchable flower atop a high mountain.

When Jiang Yuchuan and his former pretty-face partner end up on the same horror variety show, the entire internet waits to see how Xia Xun will be rejected. But before long, everyone is left dumbfounded...

Whenever Xia Xun is around, Jiang Yuchuan, normally so languid, actually takes the lead in facing the monsters.

In the dark, Jiang Yuchuan only ever takes Xia Xun's hand. But as soon as the lights come on, he turns cold again.

When the two of them are sent on a solo mission, Xia Xun is trembling with fear but still forces himself to say, "I'm not scared." Then Jiang, the fearless movie star, pulls him into his arms from behind and murmurs, "Yeah, I'm the one who's scared."

Comments: ...What the hell are you scared of?! You've nearly scared the NPCs to death!!!
