Bloodfire Through the Dust

[This is the story of Dongzhou in the Four Lands: A Chronicle of Past and Present Customs.]

[Short version: If love between gods and demons is forbidden, surely love between two gods should be fine, right? Don't ask what kind of gods they are!]

·

The lord of the Demon Realm, who embodied every hardship and wickedness, said she wanted peace and harmony in the mortal world. Every god, ghost, spirit, and demon thought she was mad.

The Demon Lord replied without a care: "If you think I'm mad, then mad I shall be. I will never stop being mad in this life."

And so, the Demon Lord came to be known as "Feng Bugai," the one who would never change her madness.

·

After overcoming countless trials and finally achieving a happy ending, the Immortal Lord Gu Weichen, known as Buhuai, asked his beloved, the ruler of the Demon Realm, with worry in his eyes: "Bugai, what if people in later generations condemn us for a god and a demon falling in love? What should we do?"

Feng Bugai replied as if it were obvious: "Why don't I become a god too? They can't condemn two gods for falling in love, can they? A demon god is still a god."

Gu Weichen: "Wouldn't it be easier to kill anyone who runs their mouth?"

Feng Bugai: "...Which one of us is the demon, anyway?"

·

Couple: A ruthless, composed, big-sister-type Demon Venerable with B-king energy × a capricious, gloomy, delicate male ghost of an Immortal Lord

Feng Bugai (Gu Qingdie) × Gu Weichen

[PS: The male lead takes the female lead's surname.]

[Potential trigger: There will be a child later, and the male lead gives birth. They are a demon and a god, so their way of having children is certainly not ordinary.]

Theme: Do no evil; do every good.
