Back to When My Nemesis Was a Child [Honkai: Star Rail]

I'm a magician. My fame spans the universe, and my wealth is beyond measure. If I had to name one blemish on an otherwise perfect life, it would be having a nemesis. That flashy mad dog from the Interastral Peace Corporation, Aventurine. The day after an unexpected one-night stand, my archenemy and I got into another fight, this time a physical one. I stabbed him full of holes, and he sent me home in a body bag. I thought that was the end of my life, but when I closed my eyes and opened them again, I found myself in an unknown star system. Surprise! I'm not dead! Not only that, but I'm lying wounded on the surface of a barren, desolate planet, with a little kid beside me. His eyes and brows look familiar, clear and wary. I take a closer look. Isn't this my archenemy as a child? Well, well, well. My arrogant, reckless, lying nemesis. I can't believe I've finally caught you like this. After I gleefully bully him, toy with him, force him to wear a little dress, and make him sign a slave contract promising never to betray me, he takes my hand and asks if I can please stay. I burst out laughing. I've got all this evidence of how badly I've treated you, and you're only begging me now? Too late, my friend! . What I don't know is that when I accidentally return to the past, my archenemy is transported to another world. Black sludge destroys the land of red sand and flowers. The merciful Rukkhadevata builds a towering wall, keeping death, a symbol of taboo and destruction, outside. Beyond the wall, Aventurine finds the only living being in the black sludge. He gives the child a shake and meets his hollow gaze. "Good evening, kid." "Who would have thought that the great magician Gabo, whose name will one day resound throughout the universe, was such a pitiful little thing as a child?" . *The main story is written in third person. *The romance starts when they're adults!! Nothing romantic during the body-swapping phase. Sex first, love later. Fill in what 'sex' means however you like. *Most of the plot is original, with lots of headcanons. You don't need to have played the game to understand it (or so I hope). *Food for my new wife, Aventurine. May the Mother Goddess close her eyes for you three times. . [Recommending my original upcoming novel: I Must Have a Happy Ending with the Throne! by Guan Yunshang] Shi Wenge, the Imperial Crown Prince, is confined to a separate palace under the pretext of recuperating. In short, he's fallen from favor. One day, while Shi Wenge is lounging in the countryside letting his hair grow long, he discovers that the world he lives in is a melodramatic romance novel. The protagonist will be ruthlessly pursued and possessed by a duke's son, treated as a substitute for a genius scientist's first love, hunted by a space pirate who later regrets it, and abused both physically and emotionally by one scumbag after another, before eventually dying alone. Unfortunately, the protagonist is a deadweight with something wrong in his head, who crawled out of a laboratory. Even worse, if the protagonist meets a death ending along the way, some unlucky person will be dragged down with him. The unlucky person who gets caught up in it, Shi Wenge: ... Well, then. He's fallen from favor, but he hasn't given up, and he has no intention of dying. So what deadweight? What do you mean, something's wrong with his head? From today on, he's my own little brother! Nobody is allowed to covet my precious little brother (the imperial throne). . Feng Can sometimes dreams. He knows he has an enchantingly beautiful face that can make people fall in love with him easily, but their affection becomes distorted. In his dreams, people swarm around him like locusts, saying they love him, want him all to themselves, and try to control him. Humans are such petty, hateful creatures. They must pay the price. But before Feng Can has a chance to do anything, he discovers that the Crown Prince, a background character who never appeared in his dreams, has already dealt with scumbags 123, taken care of the financial magnates 456, and dragged Feng Can into the imperial palace to raise him. Faced with Feng Can's enchanting beauty and calculated sweetness, Shi Wenge remains cold and goes through his routine questions. "What's so funny? Have you eaten? Have you published your paper? Did you get full marks on your homework? I hear you've never touched a mecha. I'll get you the best instructors and equipment. You'd better come first in practical training within three months." Feng Can: . Feng Can: ? Has my beauty stopped working? Seriously, brother, that's all you've got? Later. When the old emperor hands over the throne to the new one, the empire is plunged into chaos. People with ulterior motives join forces with aliens to stage a rebellion. Shi Wenge rushes to the battlefield, but at the center of the explosion, he finds Feng Can as the only living being. Feng Can is as sweet and adorable as ever, tilting his head. "Brother, am I still your most beloved little brother?" That is, if you ignore the half an alien head he's still holding. Anyone who stands in the way of my brother ascending the throne must die. . "Brother, am I still your most beloved little brother?" Beloved? Oh, a pitiful, adorable little puppy who doesn't even know the answer to something so simple. In contrast to Shi Wenge's gentle, beautiful appearance, he has two striking personality traits. First, his ruthless methods are solely in pursuit of the throne. Second, he has no heart. . Reading guide: 1. An incubi-like, max-charisma yandere top x an emotionally impaired control-freak bottom.
