My Late Ex-Girlfriend [Bungo Stray Dogs]

[Free story, 1-2 updates a week] [Check out The Dark-Era Dazai Picks Up a Mary Sue Slime by July's Tangerine] On the seventh day after my death, I sat on my coffin, sneaking the offerings from the funeral altar. Lots of people came to mourn me. Maybe it was because my memories were incomplete, but I didn't recognize most of them. I did recognize the face at the very front of the crowd, though: expressionless, lifeless, and not shedding a single tear. Dazai Osamu, my ex-boyfriend. Bet you didn't expect that, huh? Even as a ghost, I can come back! I floated behind him and instinctively looped my arms around his shoulders. The apple core I'd finished eating was tucked into his pocket without leaving a trace. He had no spiritual sensitivity, so he couldn't see me. Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing after all. Heh heh heh. I laughed wickedly. Too bad no one could hear my grand plan to get back at my ex. From now on, his bandages would vanish, strange noises would occasionally come from the kitchen, he'd see a woman's hair in the mirror, and he'd wake in the middle of the night with something weighing him down. No getting out of bed for you! You jerk, now you're at my mercy! . I remembered Dazai Osamu's face, but forgot how unusual his brain was, and how thick-skinned he could be. So after seven days, I started to regret it. In my diary, I wrote in big letters: [He made me cry when we broke up, and now he says having a ghost girlfriend is cool, after making me wait until I died before asking to get back together. Cool? Cool your ass!] * Mainly Bungo Stray Dogs, with a little Jujutsu Kaisen. Pairing: Boss Dazai. A bittersweet treat. * Includes a little suspense. Theme: Love and loneliness
