After the Ice-Cold Campus Heartthrob Turned into My Cat

Jiang Nuan finds an adorable stray orange kitten.

She gives the kitten a lovely bath and feeds it until it's plump, but the cat refuses to cuddle with her or sleep beside her.

Every time Jiang Nuan holds it, the kitten yowls like a pig being slaughtered.

Jiang Nuan is quite frustrated, but she still treats the cat as her emotional support and complains to it about Shen Qingfeng, the campus heartthrob who is always at odds with her:

"He's a stubborn, boring block of ice."

In her sleep, she curses Shen Qingfeng: "Why'd you reject my proposal and make me revise it more than ten times? You jerk!"

She confides in the cat: "When the campus newspaper club elected its new president, I was the only one who voted against Shen Qingfeng."

Shen Qingfeng, who turns into a cat every night: "..."

Yeah, right.

One night, Shen Qingfeng wakes up and discovers he's become a fluffy, round-faced orange cat.

The terrifying part is that the cat's owner is Jiang Nuan, the girl he can't stand on campus.

Even more terrifying, Jiang Nuan cuddles and hugs him every day, and even holds him while she sleeps!

At first, Shen Qingfeng is righteous and incorruptible: as a decent man, he will absolutely never give in to Jiang Nuan!

Later, Shen Qingfeng looks at Jiang Nuan, who's fallen asleep beside him after studying until she's exhausted, and uses a cat's paw to gently tuck the blanket around her.

The sweet-tempered girl is like a thorny rose, stubborn and resilient, with brilliant, passionate dreams in her heart.

Being by this little scatterbrain's side in this way every night is a joy to him.
