Love Letters for Every Season

Free-spirited entertainment reporter x rebellious top-tier star singer

One night, Leng Mengran comes across a livestream by He Yang, the bar singer she had a crush on in college.

He Yang is now a hugely popular singer.

He still has a head of unruly blond hair, and the black studs in both earlobes shine brightly.

The livestream chat is flying by at lightning speed. Looking at He Yang's handsome face, Leng Mengran is suddenly struck by inspiration. Taking advantage of the chaos, she types "Husband!!!" several times and hits send, then immediately leaves the livestream.

But she forgets to switch accounts.

The next day's trending headline:

#Breaking! Famous entertainment reporter Leng Mengran boldly declares her love for He Yang in his livestream, calling him "husband"#

Leng Mengran is completely stunned. She hurriedly finds He Yang in her WeChat contacts, even though they haven't spoken in ages, and frantically explains that she absolutely has no improper intentions toward him.

She watches her phone anxiously for ages before He Yang finally sends two voice messages at his leisure.

"What, you called me husband yesterday, and now you're pretending we don't know each other?" His words drawl out, followed by a lazy snort of laughter. "It's been years, and I didn't think you'd still be so irresponsible."

He Yang's breakout album is called Confessions Through the Four Seasons.

His fans are enthralled by his heartfelt voice and scream his name.

Only he knows that every lyric on the album is a love letter to Leng Mengran.

"Spring, summer, autumn, winter, the seasons turn, but I still like you."
