I Won Everyone Over by Fighting Desertification

This is a slow-burn story, and the other characters appear later. Updated daily, with reliable updates~

The night Wen Xiangyi was laid off, she transmigrated into the body of the only living five-year-old girl in a remote desert city. When she opened her eyes, she was surrounded by the shattered corpses of the city's inhabitants and a pack of hungry wolves.

Fortunately, she bound herself to a desertification-control System. Completing tasks earned her supplies to survive, so she worked tirelessly to control desertification and plant grass. Over nine years, she turned thousands of miles of desert into grassland and became an undisputed hidden tycoon.

After reaching civilization, Wen Xiangyi started a food business, established a trading company, raised horses, farmed, practiced medicine, and taught. Before she knew it, she had also become the richest person in the open.

The Wen family found the girl who had been missing for more than a decade. Before they had time to celebrate, they were already worried. On her first day home, the eldest Miss Wen beat up her good-for-nothing brothers. On the second, she beat up every wastrel in the city. After that, she kept showing up at the doors of various families to pick fights. From then on, the noblewomen and young ladies of the great clans avoided her like the plague.

Madam Wen worried about her daughter's marriage every day, losing sleep over it. Every few days, she sent out invitations in hopes of introducing her daughter to someone, but no one dared come to their door.

At some point, the city's wastrel young men began to turn their lives around. They looked healthier and sharper, and each became remarkably capable, much to the amazement of their fathers and elder brothers. Once their families learned what had happened, the ladies of every household sent invitations to express their gratitude. After getting to know Wen Xiangyi, they were even more taken with her. The noblewomen and young ladies could hardly wait to spend every day with her.

And so Madam Wen had something new to worry about. All these promising young men who came knocking seemed great no matter how she looked at them. She was spoiled for choice!

Not long afterward, troubled times descended. Wen Xiangyi had already become a force no faction could ignore, and now it was Wen Xinyi's turn to agonize over which side to support.
