The Mountain God Wants to Come Down the Mountain

Wishes from the human world pile up like mountains, and the divine officials can barely keep up. So they send the mountain gods down to the mortal realm to spread blessings on behalf of the Heavenly Gods. Whoever does the best will be promoted to the position of Fortune God.

At first, Lu San, the God of West Mountain, says, "Ascending to immortality is as hard as climbing to heaven, but promotion offers another path. I'll take the job!"

Later, Lu San says, "The road is hard, the road is hard. So many forks, where do I go? One day the wind will carry my sails across the waves. For now, I'd rather lie low and enjoy a good meal..."

After slacking off for eight hundred years, Lu San receives a warning letter from Heaven. If he doesn't take up his duties as mountain god soon, he'll be reduced to ashes!

Without worshippers, Lu San's powers are weak. He can't even get past the barrier at the foot of the mountain. How can he take on assignments and keep himself alive...
