One-sentence summary: A Cthulhu-style fishman making his way in Gotham.

(The previous blurb didn't really fit the story, but I couldn't think of anything better on the spot, so it'll have to do for now. [sweat])

Feel free to skip chapters 75–83 (approximately). That section is way too drawn out and shouldn't affect your reading experience. I'll fill in the missing parts in the extras after the main story is complete. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. :(

[Reader Advisory]

1. Because the author did something stupid, the romance has already bitten the dust, so you can read this as no-CP. There is no romance throughout.

2. Major OOC warning for the characters! Mountains of original worldbuilding (important).

3. The protagonist is a gloomy, depressed Cthulhu fishman wearing human skin. He's always longing to go home and is pretty useless early on (the author isn't skilled enough QAQ).

4. There will be an unspecified amount of sanity-draining content. The protagonist's true form is strange, as are the antagonists' true forms. They follow the Cthulhu aesthetic, with plenty of creative liberties.

5. My own take on Cthulhu.

But after living there for a while, he realized it wasn't quite what he had imagined.

He looked at the huge, pitch-black rag in front of him, a vicious creature that could ram him hard enough to make him cough up blood, and a bunch of question marks appeared over his head.

Where exactly was this “gentle disposition” supposed to be?

Yi Wan raised all these giant fish as pets.

Until one day, he went to another world on a mission and saw a dark silhouette flying across the night sky.
