[Ancient Rome] How I Became Caesar the Great's Grandson by Blood

Bad news: You transmigrated to the Mediterranean world before the Common Era.

Good news: As a modern university student with poor life skills, at least your noble birth means your living conditions aren't too bad.

Even better news: For an aspiring Romanophile, what could be happier than being born into a Roman citizen's family?

The very best news: You are the one and only legitimate grandson of the famous Julius Caesar, a grandson who never existed in history!

What kind of good news is that?! Faustus looked at his young, beautiful mother and his father, who was over fifty, and felt as if he couldn't breathe.

Can somebody tell him why the father in this life is none other than the famous Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus?!

Dad, Grandpa, please stop fighting!

The short version: Faustus Pompeius Magnus, the only son of the great Pompey and his fourth wife, Julia Caesaris; a traitor to the Republicans, an admirer of Augustus, one of the most celebrated historians of the early Empire, Rome's richest man after Crassus and Balbus, a veteran gossip who spent eighty years following the drama, and the compiler of Postpartum Care for Sows. He has now made his grand entrance in 58 BCE.

Please join us in giving him a glorious welcome.

tips: 1. Julia Caesaris's birth year has been moved up to 79 BCE. She marries Pompey and gives birth to Faustus at around twenty. Faustus won't let his mother die of postpartum hemorrhage as she did in history.

2. Faustus won't steal Octavian's spotlight or become Augustus.

3. Pairing with Maecenas, no reversing or breaking them up. Twelve-year age gap, not both virgins. Once their feelings are confirmed, it's a one-on-one relationship. Please leave the ancient Romans alone, thank you.
