[The Silmarillion] A False Ballad of Beleriand

"Everyone who has seen you is now very, very old. The fishing village became a harbor, then a town, and sorrow is painted between your brows."

The departed shadows of the past, the wars and songs now far away. You, child of a second generation, have nothing to do with this legend. In the tavern, a minstrel softly sings of ancient days, of the forgotten ballads of Belland.

Still unfolding the story.

[Yes, some of this was written years ago, and the writing is very immature. It's just for fun.]

P.S. There are all kinds of pairings, so please take note if you have strong preferences.
