[This is an old story I wrote before I was signed, so it never got any exposure and couldn't make the rankings. I'm reposting it here purely as a keepsake. The business battle cases in the story are adapted from real cases. The actual events were far more dramatic. There's no sweet, romantic love here, only the pressure of time and the cold-blooded world of capital. I hope you enjoy it!]
A sweet, romantic artist uke x a cold, rigid finance mogul seme
Everyone envies Wen Ruxu, the young master of the Wen family. Not only is he handsome and refined, he also has an overindulgent CEO brother who always has his back. All he has to do is live carefree and squander the family fortune. And so Wen Ruxu diligently became a spoiled young master who didn't care about anything.
Then he woke up one day to find his brother dead, the company bankrupt, and himself saddled with an astronomical debt for no apparent reason.
In an instant, Wen Ruxu went from a pampered young master to a disgraced outcast, despised by everyone. His life became a living hell, as he struggled to survive day by day among a crowd of creditors with sour faces.
Worst of all, his biggest creditor was Qiao Jin, the cold-blooded investment genius known in the industry as the Living King of Hell.
Qiao Jin was nicknamed the Human Money-Printing Machine. Immune to every worldly pleasure, the first thing he said upon meeting the handsome Wen Ruxu was: "Pay me back."
Honestly... his dedication was downright terrifying...
Wen Ruxu: "Aaaah, don't mention his name! My head hurts, my head hurts!"
Qiao Jin had lived like a precision machine, programmed with just one instruction: make money.
He had even upgraded that instruction himself: Make the most money at the lowest cost.
And so the world gained a terrifying money-making machine, along with countless brokenhearted men and women.
Until he met a strange person who, despite being deeply in debt, could still admire the stars filling the sky.
The instructions running Qiao the Robot stopped working in those eyes filled with starlight.
Wen Ruxu: "Aaaah, don't mention his name! I've told you, I don't know the person who sent the flowers! I don't know him! Why won't he believe me?"
