The Law-Abiding Citizen Is at the Crime Scene Again Today

A cheeky but devoted police detective seme 1 X a broken, synesthetic psychology professor shou 0

Yun Que, a psychology professor, has been sleeping terribly lately.

More precisely, he gets murdered in his dreams every night.

Strangled, drowned, disemboweled, buried alive... The methods are never repeated, and he gets the full experience.

Even more absurdly, each method matches a real-life murder case!

Until a case is solved, he has to relive the victim's experience every night.

To stay alive, no, to get some sleep, Professor Yun becomes the most enthusiastic outside consultant for the Lan Hai City Criminal Investigation Unit.

By day, he provides psychological profiles, accurate as if he had supernatural insight. At night, he experiences the crimes firsthand, and his experiences reveal crucial clues.

As for Ling Chuan, the unit chief, apart from looking like a nightclub male model and talking like a con man, he really can solve cases.

Yun Que provides the clues, and Ling Chuan risks his life chasing down the killer.

He says he just hopes to solve the cases quickly so that Professor Yun, a concerned citizen, can get a good night's sleep.

The two make a flawless team, solving cases so quickly that criminals start questioning their own lives.

The Sea Bride case, the livestream suicide case, the Death Puppet case: all are swiftly cracked by the "Ling-Yun duo," leaving criminals terrified.

Then one late night, Yun Que is thoroughly worn out by someone and falls into a deep sleep curled up in bed.

Ling Chuan wraps his arms around him from behind and says with a laugh, "Professor Yun, sleep well."

Only then does Yun Que finally realize what that "I hope you sleep well" from back then really meant.
