Also known as: This Enhancement-Type Is Clearly Strong, Yet Way Too Timid; My Leg Accessory Can One-Punch Any Enemy
You might not believe this, but before I died, I was a three-star Treasure Hunter of the Enhancement type.
I used to think I was invincible, strutting around like I didn't care who I offended. I was so arrogant that I went treasure hunting on the Dark Continent without preparing a thing.
The result was obvious. I died, brought down by my own arrogance.
After dying once, I finally understood.
People have limits. I learned one thing in my short life: the more arrogant and conceited you are, the more likely you are to die. The only way to survive is to be cautious, keep a low profile, and find someone powerful to cling to!
Good news! I reincarnated! In a world of magic!
Bad news! I have no magic! I'm a muggle!
Good news! I discovered that I still have my abilities from my old world! And my adoptive father is an ancient dragon who looks incredibly powerful and can keep me safe for life!
Bad news! My adoptive father kept telling me to go down the mountain and make a living on my own. After I refused time and again, he left me behind and disappeared. Q_Q
I'm just a muggle with no magic! An Enhancement-type? Even dogs would shake their heads at the idea of a physical fighter who specializes in enhancement fighting those long-range mages! I'll die! I'll definitely die again!
Waaah, someone please protect me! I'm super weak! Q_Q
That was all from Xixilia's one-sided perspective.
At first, everyone believed that this person, who brought several sets of defensive magic items whenever she went out and never took on a mission alone, really was a poor little thing. In keeping with the Fairy Tail guild's spirit of helping one another, they were all happy to look after this adorable, complimentary leg accessory, and thought:
Our Xixi is so cute. (Fondly doting expression)
Until everyone ran into danger and thought not only that they were going to die, but that they would drag the little cutie down with them. Then, right before their eyes, the "little cutie" who kept saying how weak she was beat the enemy senseless. After one-punching the foe, she burrowed into their arms and begged them for protection.
Everyone: ?
Wait, who are you?
Reader's guide:
1. It's been a long time since I read Fairy Tail, so a lot of the plot is fuzzy. I'm currently doing a third reread and research pass, and I'll update the details once I'm done. This blurb is based on the initial concept.
2. Although this is tagged as a crossover, the other series barely appear and are just background elements.
3. The heroine thinks she's a rookie, but she's actually the strongest. She's strong without knowing it, and she's very timid most of the time despite how strong she is (important!!). Being dismembered after dying on the Dark Continent in her past life left her with a lasting trauma. She'll get over it later, but at first she's very timid (important again).
4. I might break up canon couples, but I won't bash any characters. I'm a fan of everyone, forever. By breaking up couples, I mean that almost all the relationships in the main story will be platonic. I won't put down any characters, and every character will have their own shining moments! Platonic pairings are the best!!!!
5. This is a truly obscure series, so I hope you'll praise me a lot and give me the motivation to keep writing. Q_Q
Theme: I may be weak, but you give me the courage to keep moving forward.
