How Did My Disciple Become Such a Hopeless Romantic?

*

One day, the Master suddenly awakened to the fact that he was a tragic, aloof master in a story from a smut site, destined to be captured and abused in every way by his darkened disciple.

The Master didn't understand, but he was deeply shocked.

He looked back and saw that the little brat he'd taken in when he was young and reckless had already grown up to reach his chest.

The Master: ...

His grown disciple couldn't be thrown away, so he had to find a way to nip this in the bud.

Scenario one: The disciple falls for him after spending so much time together, develops improper desires, and decides to abduct him to the Demon Palace?

The Master turned around and kicked his disciple, who was glued to his side with shining eyes, down the mountain to gain experience.

Scenario two: The disciple is neglected and despised by his Master because of his demon bloodline, becomes twisted and dark, then imprisons him in the Demon Palace and abuses him in every way?

The Master sternly taught him how to balance his bloodline, and taught him to aim high: he was born to rule the demon realm and must never be confined by romantic love.

He also told his disciple that if there was anything he wanted, he could ask. As long as it was reasonable and proper, his Master would grant it. Under no circumstances was he to force anyone to do something against their will.

That way, if his disciple showed any improper inclinations, the Master could spot them as soon as he asked for what he wanted.

The disciple bowed respectfully and said he understood.

Who could look at all this and not say it was foolproof?

The Master was a little reassured.

One day, the disciple returned from his travels, knelt properly before him, and said respectfully, "Master, I have conquered the demon realm."

The Master was pleased. "Good."

The disciple said, "I would like to ask you for something."

The Master said, "Go ahead."

The disciple asked, a little shyly, "May I give you the demon realm as my betrothal gift?"

The Master: "?"

The Master: "If I refuse, are you going to abduct me to the Demon Palace next?"

The disciple was shocked. "How did you know I had thought of that?!"
