The Gorgeous Star Was Courted by Their Archrival on a Variety Show

Everyone knows that Ning Shize, the entertainment industry's current top-tier star, can't stand the has-been actress Xie Feiyue.

Unless absolutely necessary, the two never appear in the same frame.

Ning Shize comes from a wealthy family and has always been a born winner. Since entering the entertainment industry, everything has gone smoothly for him. He's won multiple major awards, and has eighty million followers on Weibo. Even a casual paparazzi shot of him can make the top three on Weibo's trending charts.

Xie Feiyue has nothing but a stunning, extravagant face. She's appeared in only a handful of productions, yet rumors constantly accuse her of sleeping her way to the top. Her reputation is in tatters, with no real fans and countless haters.

Later, the two were invited to appear together on a variety show.

Before it aired, Ning Shize's fans took to Weibo every day to defend him, relentlessly tagging the production team:

"Did Xie Feiyue sleep her way onto the show again so she can cling to our oppa and leech off his popularity? [Puke]"

"That social butterfly Xie must have gotten a taste for the attention from that photo that leaked before. What did our oppa ever do to deserve this, being forced to appear in the same frame as that woman?"

Earlier, a photo of Ning Shize holding hands with Xie Feiyue had suddenly appeared on the trending charts.

In the photo, Ning Shize was holding Xie Feiyue's hand. She was wearing nothing but a simple T-shirt and jeans, and a hint of something suggestive could be seen inside the loose neckline.

Although the photo looked extremely intimate, not one of Ning Shize's fans believed there could be anything between him and Xie Feiyue. They all felt sorry for him, convinced that Xie Feiyue had set him up.

When the variety show aired, the fans who wanted Xie Feiyue kicked off the show were left dumbfounded.

Who was this person with the word "like" practically stamped across his face? That absolutely couldn't be their oppa!
