Amnesia Mark

[ABO]

Mu Yan had been secretly in love with Chen Zhan for years, but he knew Chen treated him specially only because he was his mentor's son.

At a dinner party, someone drugged Chen Zhan. The usually gentlemanly alpha lost all reason, and Mu Yan was overcome by a sudden reckless desire. He went to him willingly and let Chen mark him.

Afterward, Mu Yan braced himself on his aching, weakened body and used a whole dozen pheromone blockers, pretending nothing had happened.

Chen Zhan had never tolerated a speck of dirt in his eyes. If he found out Mu Yan had those kinds of feelings for him, then even the debt he owed Mu Yan's father wouldn't stop him from keeping Mu Yan at his side.

Mu Yan touched the skin on the back of his neck, still sore from the alpha's rough treatment, and thought that this was already more than enough.

*

The fact that an omega had been marked couldn't be hidden. Rumors about Mu Yan spread through their circle, so Chen Zhan offered to marry him to help.

The rumors stopped at once, and a little hope flared in Mu Yan's heart again, until he overheard Chen Zhan talking with his mother.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"I promised my teacher I'd take care of him. Besides, marriage has never meant anything to me."

"Is it really just a sense of duty?"

Chen Zhan raised an eyebrow and replied with a smile, "What else would it be?"

Mu Yan's heart died completely, and he became even more determined never to let Chen Zhan learn the truth.

Later on...

"A-Yan," Chen Zhan said, forcing himself to maintain his refined, gentlemanly facade as jealousy threatened to break his nerves. "Tell me, who is that person?"

*The gong is jealous of himself. A gentleman on the surface, insanely jealous behind closed doors. Marriage first, love later.

*An older gong with status and power, fiercely possessive X a well-behaved beauty shou who's been secretly in love for years.

*A self-indulgent creation born from an XP explosion, containing a lethal dose of melodrama. Please mind the tags.
