In a Wonderful Romance with Nishinoya!

[If you enjoy this, I hope you'll give it a five-star rating ^Y^ It's best enjoyed with in-line comments, which add all sorts of fun surprises. I've continued revising it since completion and added a ton of scenes, including tens of thousands of bonus words. I'm not responsible for incomplete versions found anywhere outside Jinjiang.] [Original upcoming story, "The Noble Demon King Only Wants to Be My Dog" → Basically, the hero is a hopeless romantic] [Original upcoming story, "The Hopelessly Romantic Villain Keeps Wanting to Be My Dog" → He'd rather be his wife's dog than pursue his ambitions] I dated a very affectionate boy in middle school. He was a bit like a puppy, and sometimes like a kitten. His recent worry was [Nothing!!!] ...Ah, he's so handsome =v= (in every sense). Anyway, he's an excellent libero! He can dig up all kinds of tricky, dangerous shots! I said to him, "Nishinoya-senpai, Nishinoya-senpai, Nishinoya-senpai." He seemed to have missed that perfectly placed serve of mine =v=. He started walking with his arms and legs on the same side! * Nishinoya is a cheerful, carefree, spirited young man. His playing style is especially quiet. Though he sometimes looks a little unapproachable when he isn't smiling, when he's with me, he puts away his sharp teeth and shows me only his soft, considerate side. When we're together, we're usually happily running around and fooling around. Everyone around us thinks our relationship is so childish that we're more like playmates than a couple. ...Okay, sometimes I think so, too. But I've realized that sometimes, Nishinoya is different. I went to watch one of his matches and, at someone's request, took a tiny little bit of a billion photos of the other players. After the match, Nishinoya was still caught up in the atmosphere of the court, a hint of fierceness escaping from the corners of his slightly upturned eyes. When he came over to me, he looked conflicted, his brows lowering slightly as he wrapped both arms around me, as if staking his claim. In a muffled voice, he said, "Pay attention to me!" I smoothly raised my hand to pet him. "I am." [I wish she wouldn't look at anyone else.] Sometimes he got even greedier. - [A short, cute little story with no brains, a slow-burn everyday romance. You should be able to follow it even if you haven't read the original.] - [A short story standing strong in the chilly wind! Thanks for supporting the official release, qvq] - [Please don't recommend stories in my comments _(:з)∠)_] Original upcoming story, "The Noble Demon King Only Wants to Be My Dog" * After transmigrating to a perilous world and becoming a poor student from a remote area who received an acceptance letter from the capital's top academy right from the start, An Li was fishing to stave off hunger when she hooked a little can. She pried open its seal with a bread knife and found a boy with little horns on his head, apparently suffering from amnesia. Can't eat him. Toss him out, An Li thought, disappointed. She was about to leave when she saw the boy twitch a finger. In an instant, the river froze into an endless sheet of ice. The boy regarded her expressionlessly. "Who are you?" An Li silently pried a fish out of the ice. "..." Huh. It's edible. "...Your master." She was going to die sooner or later anyway, and her family was short on labor. An Li's mind stirred, and she nervously took a gamble. "...Will you come with me?" * The white-haired boy didn't need a salary or benefits, just food and lodging. An Li was quite pleased to have gotten herself a useful butler for free. One day, An Li had a dream. In it, she learned that she was now a minor NPC in a fantasy adventure story. Her only role in the plot was to accidentally fish up the sealed Demon King of the Abyss. Once the seal was broken, the world would plunge into darkness, setting off the main story in which a passionate band of heroes saved the world. The Lord of the Abyss looked down on all the world's [rules], was cruel and arrogant, and had countless souls of the dead at his beck and call. Naturally, the Demon King would kill her with a casual flick of his hand right at the start. An Li woke up to the delicious smell of food. The boy, who had recently cruelly cracked open the son of a hen, an egg, looked at her calmly. "I added sugar to the coffee, just as you asked." Coffee beans! Souls of the dead! "The fried egg is runny." An egg! Nothing to worry about! Even his worn-out shirt, washed until its color had faded, looked like a noble's bespoke outfit on him. An Li had just woken up, and the words came out before she could think. "The bread's too soft. Make it crispier." The boy paused, eyes lowered. "...Okay." He turned toward the oven and prepared another piece of bread to her specifications. An Li: "..." The Demon King of the Abyss, who looked down on all the world's [rules], was currently working as a butler in her barely-getting-by rented apartment, amazingly skilled at every household chore. ...Wasn't he supposed to casually kill her right from the start? Haha. It must be a mistake. Haha. …Haha. * During an academy expedition, the hero's party accidentally wandered into the Demon Realm. With death at their doorstep, An Li watched as the vengeful spirits and demons that had been lurking nearby suddenly trembled and fell to their knees, while werewolves and vampires bowed to her reverently. The magic within her gathered into a figure. One of her companions recognized him and looked horrified. "T-The Demon King!?" The white-haired boy's face remained expressionless, but a faint glimmer of light shone in his dark eyes. Ignoring everyone else there, he stared at An Li and said in a low voice, "It's time. Why aren't you back for dinner?" The hero's party: "???" The people of the Demon Realm: "???" An Li: "...He's a little clingy." The hero's party: This has to be an act.jpg The people of the Demon Realm: Our king must have his own way of doing things! This is part of the plan!! He must be plotting something earth-shattering! Some time later. The hero's party: This doesn't look like an act.jpg The people of the Demon Realm: Maybe we should switch jobs. Is the Abyss doomed? Our boss is a hopeless romantic even the zombies next door wouldn't eat! # "What Have You Done to Our Lord of the Abyss?" # "I Went Fishing and Accidentally Saved the World" # "Wait, Destroy the World and Reclaim the Throne? I'm Busy Spoiling My Wife. Do Not Disturb" # A scheming, hopelessly romantic Demon King with MAX possessiveness, who was always dark but is secretly soft-hearted: She only lets me serve her, so she must not be able to live without me! The technology in human society is close to modern-day levels. Theme: Growing through a healthy relationship
