After Hearing the Pure-Hearted Matsuda's Thoughts

[Pre-release: Rolling around and begging you to bookmark This Isn't a Detective RPG! ovo] [I've revised quite a few plot points and am not responsible for any other pirated versions] -------[Reader's guide at the end of the blurb]---------- *[Airi's perspective] I'm an ordinary high school girl, but I have one extraordinary superpower. When I make physical contact with someone, I can read their mind. My boyfriend is a student at the prestigious university next door, a handsome, sharp-tongued guy with short, curly hair. He looks cocky and rebellious, is great at fighting, and is good at boxing. The first time I met him, he had an impatient look on his face. Then I bent down to pick something up and accidentally bumped into his leg. I heard him think, "She's so cute." I looked up. The curly-haired guy still wore the same cocky, impatient expression. Me: "?" As we got to know each other, I realized he wasn't as cool and cocky as he seemed. He was actually a sincere, slow-to-warm-up ( ?) kind of guy. After spending some time together, all we usually did was hold hands and hug. Nothing else ever happened. When he reluctantly fed me something, his hand touched mine. I heard him think, "I want to kiss her." Me: "??" Once we got even closer, I realized the curly-haired guy wasn't quite so sincere and slow to warm up after all. He was probably a sharp-tongued, tsundere romance devotee. Even after a kiss, his ears would turn bright red. After we'd been dating for a long time, we went out to eat together on my birthday. I'm just a little younger than him, and I wanted to sneak a drink, but he wouldn't let me, so I had to watch him drink instead. The curly-haired guy kept drinking until he was completely wasted. When I went to help him, I heard him think: "I want to [beep]." Me: "???" *[Matsuda's perspective] I'm an ordinary male college student. I do well in school, I'm physically fit, and I want to fight the commissioner general of the National Police Agency one-on-one. I have a very, very cute girlfriend. And a childhood friend. There's a hardware and tool store near the prestigious university I currently attend, and I love browsing there. All in all, my future looks bright. But I think my girlfriend can read minds. Once, we had shaved ice together. She looked really cute eating. I calmly reached out for a napkin to wipe the corner of her mouth, and my girlfriend suddenly looked up at me and said, very seriously: "You want to kiss me." Me, caught red-handed: "???!!!" [Reader's guide] 1. Adorable beauty Riri × Matsuda-kun, a sweet everyday romance about a pair of airheaded lovers, one-on-one. Their ages follow the new rules Japan introduced this year~ Nothing happens before they're adults. 2. The story is packed with personal headcanons, heavily altered settings and plot, and shamelessly brings characters back from the dead ovo. Pure slice of life; don't read if that's not your thing. 3. [EXTREME OOC] warning!! The only main plot is [dating Matsuda] =v= 4. Please don't mention this story under other novels, and don't mention other novels under mine qvq If I see it, I'll delete the comments qvq Archived on 2022/4/18 -------------Pre-release: This Isn't a Detective RPG!--------- * I was bound to a [Detective Conan Modifier] system in an RPG game, which let me alter my own stats by a huge amount. The game was simple, and the quests didn't require any thought, so I skipped every long stretch of dialogue and left without a second thought once I finished each quest. In the end, I dumped all my points into money and lived a life of fine food, drink, and beautiful companions on both sides. At first, I was a player who respected the game's setting. One day, someone suddenly kicked open my door. A tall silver-haired NPC walked in with a look that said he was going to kill me, then coldly said, "You seem to have gotten a little too cocky lately." Me: "?" Who are you? I glanced at the ridiculously expensive-looking gun at his waist. While eagerly planning to snatch it and stash it in my inventory, I skillfully opened my status screen to add some buffs. [Points remaining: 1] Me: 0.0? The System popped up sneakily and asked whether I wanted to borrow points from it in advance to randomly alter the other guy's status. [System: Player has selected [Yes]! Generating random status...] [System: [NPC: Gin]'s [Height] has decreased!] [System: [NPC: Gin]'s [Height] is now [10 cm]!] Looking at the silver-haired NPC, now no bigger than a booger in my hand, I discovered a whole new world. Me: Oh ho. #The top killer becomes my pocket-sized darling (?)# #So that's a thing you can do!# From then on, I started wildly altering NPC stats without a care in the world :D Who cares about the setting? None of you NPCs are getting away! I'm going to become the strongest king in this game! [An utterly nonsensical, comedic story about tormenting the characters. Arrows fly in every direction, and the protagonist's thought process is bizarre.] [The author's IQ is low, so there are no battles of wits. Everyone's intelligence is below ground level. The abyss lies ahead (?) ] Theme: Face life with optimism
