Akaashi and I might count as friends. Though when I saw him again, I wasn't exactly willing. At twenty-six, Akiyama had been through long-term overtime, frequent insomnia, a relapse of an old illness, and a lawsuit from a patient's family. At last, her training hospital dismissed her, and she fell into depression. At the lowest point of her already terrible luck, she ran into her middle-school seatmate and crush. At twenty-six, Akaashi had a career he was happy with, many wonderful friends, and a life of his own. Just as he thought his days would keep passing in an ordinary, busy, and positive way, his high-school seatmate, whom he alone considered his best friend, appeared before him looking like a stray cat. And that's where this strange story begins. Reader's Guide: It might go premium on August 17, starting from Chapter 40. There'll be a 10,000-word update on the day, with no anti-piracy measures. You should be fine even if you haven't read it (?). I'm an idiot. The timeline is dead (weeps bitterly.jpg). The setting is based on Weathering with You. I got carried away and crossed it over, but Tokyo doesn't get flooded. There's also a bit of Wind Breaker, so the ingredients are incredibly complicated. A spur-of-the-moment story I started writing for myself (though the food tastes a bit weird when I cook it myself). Youthful angst for people in a bad state of mind (maybe?), probably a long story with a very slow pace. You can probably tell who the beloved is from this blurb! (strong hint.jpg) A story about the characters as adults, with a fantasy atmosphere. Warnings: Since you've already found this, peeked in through the doorway, and thought it looks okay... I still don't recommend getting into it. I've been blocked on this story to death, and writing it has been utterly despairing. Overall, I don't recommend reading it. If you've already come in and made it past Chapter 40 without dropping it... (scratches head) I was planning to write this note back when I was around Chapter 20, but I figured hardly anyone was reading it, so I didn't (prostrates). I won't abandon it.
