Hope Fragment Collection Program

The moment he signed the experimental consent form, Hinata, a reserve-course student, transmigrated.

He arrived in a strange world where there was no Hope's Peak and no concept of talent. Even ordinary people could live well here.

Just as he was at a loss, a System called the "Hope Fragment Collection Program" appeared. It said that if he collected the hope fragments of all the important characters in the story, he could choose whether to stay or return, and might even gain the talent he had always dreamed of.

So Hinata followed the program's missions and began meeting the story's characters. Little by little, they became friends. He learned their stories and collected hope fragment after hope fragment.

Yet even after he had collected every hope fragment, the mission still didn't show as complete. Hinata lamented that the System had tricked him and decided he had no choice but to keep living in this world.

Until one night, he awoke from his sleep and realized he wasn't lying in bed. He had appeared in some unfamiliar place, facing a friend who had vanished after graduating from the police academy. The System's notification sounded in his mind.

[New despair fragment collected]

Hinata was astonished to discover that on certain nights, another person took control of his body. This person was nothing like him, possessed all the talents he yearned for, and carried a System called the "Despair Fragment Collection Program."

"Let's see whether hope or despair will win in the end."

He heard himself say.

* Pairing: Kamukura/Hinata (specifically: Despair x Reserve Course; dual-personality narcissism; they share a body and do not separate; author's own take on their coexistence)

* Danganronpa 2 + Detective Conan. Kamukura appears a little late, and some of the Danganronpa 2 classmates will show up.

* The title and blurb are tentative and may change.

* More to come...
