I'm a Beat Cop at the Animal Police Station

After Tao Lexi failed the civil service exam for the umpteenth time, she transmigrated and became the only human rookie cop at an animal police station.

Well, even the animal world's civil service is still civil service. She'll serve the beastfolk!

Though, being a cop in the animal world isn't easy either. Just take a look at this footage below!

"The Poisoning Case"

A family of mice dragged a banner in front of the police station and wailed, "Heavens above, is there no justice for mice? My poor little grandson was poisoned to death at just half a month old! You have to shoot this mouse-killer at once!"

The tabby cat accused of killing the mouse burst into tears. "I'm innocent, Your Honor! I really didn't mean to. I saw the little mouse was sick, so I kindly gave it some rat poison. Who could've known it'd die? Boo hoo."

"The Birth Subsidy Dispute"

An elephant and a pig got into a fight. The elephant angrily demanded, "Why is the birth subsidy calculated by the number of young? We both had one litter, but my family only gets one subsidy, while that fat pig gets twelve! Is that fair?"

The pig, sporting a bruised and swollen face, snapped, "Are you crazy? If you can, have twelve babies in one litter yourself!"

"The Theft Case"

A black-crowned night heron angrily accused a man of stealing its heart without permission. "You stole my heart, but won't let me get close to you. How despicable, lewd, shameless, and vile! Give me back my heart!"

The man gazed bitterly up at the ceiling at a forty-five-degree angle. "Officer, tell me, is it my fault that I'm handsome?"

Tao Lexi: ?

Wait, hold on. A human?!
