[I'm almost recovered from being sick. I'll try to get back into the swing of things and gradually resume updates soon.]
[See the blurb below for upcoming stories.]
I, Furuya, am "Zero," an intelligence broker with an impeccable reputation. I was in Tokyo when, while being hunted by some inexplicable organization, I stumbled into an urban-legend wish shop.
Rumor has it that the shop can grant any wish, as long as you offer a teensy-weensy price that satisfies the shopkeeper.
Before I entered the shop, I thought it was just an urban legend, some bizarre ghost story.
As it turned out... who would have thought it was a shady place that forces you to buy things?!
Furuya, forced to become an employee: :)
The little shop has pitifully few customers, and the manager is always making unprofitable deals. Furuya had planned to slack off and never work, but with no hope of retirement in sight, he decides to take matters into his own hands and reform the workplace.
He never expected his very first job to bring him a huge headache.
While investigating a customer's home, he somehow attracts the attention of an elite police officer named Hagiwara, who lives next door.
After finally shaking off the troublesome Officer Hagiwara, he runs into him again while admiring cherry blossoms with the shady manager.
This time, Officer Hagiwara is accompanied by a ferocious childhood friend and a two-meter-tall guy with a buzz cut.
For some inexplicable reason, two more people have their eyes on him.

Even the shady manager gets targeted. After he and the manager successfully shake off the three men, they stumble into a murder case that's typical of Tokyo.
There are three witnesses and suspects.
Suspect No. 1, apparently innocent: Furuya himself.
Suspect No. 2, apparently innocent: The shady manager.
Suspect No. 3, apparently innocent: A black-haired, blue-eyed young man with stubble.
A few seconds later, Officer Hagiwara and his two cherry-blossom-viewing buddies join the deluxe suspect bundle.
Suspect No. 4, apparently innocent: Officer Hagiwara, an elite member of the Metropolitan Police Department.
Suspect No. 5, apparently innocent: Officer Hagiwara's black-haired, curly-haired childhood friend.
Suspect No. 6, apparently innocent: Officer Hagiwara's colleague, chewing on a toothpick.
Given: There are now six suspects. Excluding Rei Furuya and the manager, as well as Officer Hagiwara and his two companions, one unfamiliar guy remains.
Question: So who exactly is the murderer...?
Mr. Scotland, Suspect No. 3, whose suspicion level is rising rapidly despite having just passed by innocently, slowly types a question mark.
The Zero and the Manager's Wish Shop version:
There is a magical wish shop in Tokyo.
The shop welcomes everyone. Whether you're a kind high school student or a dangerous fugitive, you can make any wish you want. All you have to do is offer a teensy-weensy price that satisfies the shopkeeper, and the deal will be made and your wish will come true.
As one of the underground world's top intelligence brokers, with a network that reaches everywhere, Furuya, code-named "Zero," has naturally heard of the wish shop. But he has always thought it was just an urban legend.
That is, until one day, when he was injured and accidentally stumbled into the shop while evading his pursuers. Then he discovered that the urban legend was real.
The man who seemed to be the shopkeeper was hidden in the shadows, his features hard to make out. A dangerous aura surrounded him, as if he had just emerged from a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.
The man called Furuya by his real name. His aura immediately softened, and his attitude became remarkably friendly. He granted Furuya's wish without asking for any price.
Nothing is more expensive than something free. Furuya grew wary, and after pressing him for answers, finally got the shopkeeper to change his mind and make him an employee.
Once Furuya becomes an employee, the shopkeeper starts acting like a hands-off boss, letting him play a shop-management game and serve as a middleman, collecting commissions from the customers.
Furuya probes the limits bit by bit, but the man continues to indulge him in everything.
With the man's indulgence, Furuya grows bolder and bolder, determined to expand the wish shop and turn it into Japan's strongest Zero Corporation.
In the end, the wish shop named Zero Corporation expands beyond Japan and onto the international stage, collecting commissions and prices from the whole world.
Only then does Furuya, who has been making so much money he can't stop, realize that his price was paid long ago.
What Furuya doesn't know is that this man came to him step by step from a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, all just to call his name.
A few tips about the wish shop:
★ After a customer makes a request, the wish shop automatically generates a deal.
★ Once a deal is generated, it cannot be changed. Even if you run away without paying or cancel the deal, the shop will still demand payment.
★ The wish shop doesn't welcome customers who try to get something for nothing and run away without paying. They will be put on the shop's blacklist.
★ Calamities hate the blacklist. Be careful not to attract their attention.
★ (Crossed out) Customers can leave the wish shop only after completing their deal. (Crossed out)
P.S. Don't forget to tip the blond employee.

Blurb for Staying Alive Through Fanfiction in a Sports Anime:
As an ordinary member of the volleyball club, you got hit on the head by the captain's volleyball and woke up with a forum in your mind.
The forum's daily active users were close to zero, and unfortunately, your lifespan was directly proportional to whether the forum lived or died.
The forum was almost dead, and so were you.
The few IDs left on the forum had only stayed because they were obsessed with rarepair crack ships from the Arctic Circle and had nowhere else to go. They were huddled together for warmth.
Staring at their tearful posts begging for fanfiction for their Arctic Circle CP, you fell into deep thought.
You didn't want to go down with the forum, so you decided to save yourself by granting the wish in that thread. You couldn't let the last few users leave, too.
Step one: Find the volleyball club captain who knocked you unconscious.
Step two: Knock out the idiot captain, tie a pink bow around him, and put him in a gift box.
Step three: Send the gift box to the ace.
The ace who opened the gift box wasn't overjoyed. He gave the idiot captain a chop to the neck, making an already dumb captain even dumber. The captain hugged the ace and complained furiously.
The scene of the ace opening the gift box and beating up the captain appeared in the latest manga chapter.
The Arctic Circle CP became popular, and fanfiction about the Arctic Circle CP gift box became popular, too.
The forum's wish thread was dug up.
From that day on, a flood of wish threads for crack ships appeared on the forum.
Seeing the hope of reviving the forum, you ran around to different sports anime worlds, doing your part to create fanfiction for the forum.
Eventually, you appeared in a new manga series.
The forum got a popular new thread: "Why does this new character know everyone? Does anyone have fanfiction, girls?!"
Staring at the popular thread wishing for you to be the center of the story, you were torn.
Should you get involved yourself?!
Looking at the idiot captain clinging all lovey-dovey to the ace on your left, the rival team's ace on your right, forcing himself to cuddle up to his junior while actually being the one who's been tamed, and the beloved student from another school caught in a love triangle not far away...
You: Nowhere to start...

Watching these scenes from fanfiction play out in real life, you felt like the odd one out and decided to join in.
You walked over to the Miya twins, who were brawling, grabbed a golden-haired fox from the melee, pulled him into your arms, and whispered a dangerous gay line into his bewildered ear.
"Can we sleep together tonight?"
At that moment, the forum's daily active users surged.

Theme: Work hard, do your job well, make money and get rich, and build a bright future.
If the store manager wasn't so mysterious and charming, I would really guess that the store manager is Haro (...) Well, it doesn't matter who the store manager is. The character of Shitani in this article is so interesting. I feel like the bourbon style is actually more important, right? Ah, I want to see the opposite party play! I want to see a scene with the police academy team!
Why do I feel like the store manager won't be another zero? The blond teacher paid a price and became the store manager to restart the world and fundamentally change the fate of the five, and then was trapped in the exchange house, so Shinto thought they were the same person and let him go? Is that white dog Harrow?
Grass ()Song Tiantian, how did you steal your young tame dye's identity card? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha (and you and Ling Ling still had a fight, congratulations, congratulations, applause)
After reading it, I guess the store manager is Rei Fangtani from the original novel. He made a deal with the store to exchange fate for his relatives and friends, so his life went smoothly, so he didn't meet Jingguang and the others and didn't go to the police academy.
Fortunately, the first protagonist is Rei Furuya of this world. I feel that if he were the store manager, he might feel an inexplicable feeling of suffocation (not that the store manager would feel suffocated, but the readers who see the world through his eyes might feel suffocated). He knows everything and desires everything, but he can only watch and observe. Occasionally he can guide Zero without breaking the rules, and he is willing to do all this. This open-minded and tolerant attitude makes people feel even more suffocated.
Brother Su!!! (Voice hoarse) Hey, why did Ling Ling see Brother Su's gloomy expression? () Song Tiantian, you two really don't know each other without fighting, hahahahahahaha
So because of the inexplicable heart palpitations at the time, as well as the increase in crime in society, does Matsuda want to re-plan his career as a police officer after retiring... Then, is this really the end of the world... So, will squad leader Jinghe also become a police officer? The squad leader is probably already there, and even if Jing is not there now, the world line may be closed in the future. So, will Zero in this world be affected by the fate of closure in the end, and will he become a policeman again? Fate is really both cruel and gentle.
Mr. Dentures: You may be late to say goodbye, but you won't be absent (wiping tears) (Erkang Hands)
Come on!!! Like!!! And I'm looking forward to the novels about Disease, Jiao and Undercover Matryoshka, and finally, will the books about Gin and Ling Ling be updated in the near future? I love both that and this book! And, take good care of your body! Don't push yourself too hard!
Next, we will slowly talk about what has become of Jing He's squad leader's life, right? This is a really gentle way to save every life from its painful fate.
