Little Lingling, the Elementary Schooler

[Short story, please add it to your favorites. I want to run this one alongside another story OvO]

Rei Furuya is only six years old and lives in Beika.

On his sixth birthday, he receives a beautifully wrapped present.

Inside the box is a strangely shaped remote control in red and green.

Since little Rei has always been determined to become a trendsetter, he finds this gift that challenges the limits of his taste especially offensive.

Little Rei: What an ugly remote! >-<

Just as he's about to hide it away, he accidentally touches one of the buttons on the remote.

The world around him twists and spins, and he returns to the last day of being five.

After finally growing a year older, he's suddenly back to where he started.

Little Rei, who wants to grow up as quickly as possible, stares at the remote with a mournful expression and says nothing.

After an endlessly long day, he finally turns six again.

Little Rei: Growing up is such hard work! >-<

But before long, little Rei realizes he doesn't have to worry about the long process of growing up.

Because this remote... can take him to the future!
