The Red Bucket Raised a Bunch of Cats

After Jason Todd climbed out of his coffin, he lost all his memories. He wandered into a dark alley and found a magical whiteboard. Whatever he drew on it would appear in front of him in a mysterious way.

Jason thought being alone was boring, but he found humans noisy, so he decided to draw a cat to keep him company.

After finishing his Batman patrol for the night, Bruce Wayne returned to the Batcave. Without warning, a ring of white light appeared around him. The next second, he vanished from the Batcave.

Tim Drake, watching Batman get teleported out of the Batcave, a place with maxed-out magic resistance: !!!

Jason drew a cat on the whiteboard. When he finished, a pitch-black cat dropped in front of him. It did a neat backflip in the air, landed lightly, then froze into a cat statue.

Jason stepped forward and picked up the black cat statue. The cat raised its face and met Jason's gaze.

The cat was stunned. The cat's fur stood on end.

Bruce had never imagined he would turn into a cat. After all, he was Batman. If he had to turn into anything, it should have been a bat.

Bat-Cat Bruce: If this is a dream, I should wake up soon!

Bruce, now a cat, landed smoothly in a classic Batman pose, only to be scooped up into a warm embrace. He warily raised his head and met a familiar face.

Bat-Cat Bruce: If this is a dream, please don't wake me up!

Jason was troubled. Ever since he'd drawn a pitch-black cat on the whiteboard, the cat that appeared had been clingy to an unreasonable degree and loved meddling in everything.

If Jason stayed up at night, it would headbutt him. If he ate junk food, it would give him a disapproving cat look. He had to take it with him whenever he went out, or he would be treated to frantic meowing...

After waking up one morning and turning his head to find a certain black cat staring at him from beside his bed once again, Jason: ...

Jason: It must be because there's only one cat!

Jason got out his tablet and decided to draw a whole bunch of cats in different colors.

Jason ended up with a whole group of cats falling from the sky: a red Superman cat, a blue Nightwing cat, a red Robin cat, red-and-white Iron Man twin cats, a Spider-Cat, a red Flash cat, a Green Arrow cat, a Red Arrow cat...

Surrounded by a whole bunch of cats, Jason began living a happy life as a cat owner.
