After Raising an Evil God

Chu Yan had been sickly since childhood. After his parents got into trouble, the people who had once surrounded him drifted away, and he became a prisoner confined to the hospital.

No one was willing to go near him.

No one spoke to him.

As time passed, Chu Yan imagined an imaginary friend.

One day, as usual, he made small talk with the air. "The weather is lovely today. Would you like to go out for a walk?"

Chu Yan knew this invitation would ultimately turn into a journey taken alone.

But strangely, he heard a faint reply.

The voice was rich and captivating, like the gently vibrating strings of a cello.

Someone seemed to answer, "Sure, my friend."
