My Boyfriend Is a Barrel-Shaped Zombie

Day X, Month X, Year of the apocalypse

Li An found a zombie at a gas station.

The zombie wore an iron bucket on its head, couldn't see where it was going, and kept bumping into her.

The zombie was also pretty stupid. She told him to stay close, and in the blink of an eye he got lost.

Li An went to great lengths to get him a custom chain, and led him around with it every day.

But the zombie still kept getting into mishaps...

"Oops, sorry, I walked you right into the ditch."

"Your leg's broken. I didn't knock you over, did I? Hahaha."

"Sorry, your food's in the dog bowl. Go eat it yourself, don't be shy."

The accident happened that day, when she accidentally took the iron bucket off the zombie's head.

The zombie turned out to be her...

Her childhood sweetheart, with whom she'd grown up, shared each other's embarrassing secrets, couldn't stand each other, got into huge fights every other day, sat together in every school, and had slept in the same bed and fucked.

Her childhood sweetheart, and her ex-boyfriend.

The day they broke up, they had a fierce argument and both made threats, swearing never to see each other again.

Looking at her childhood sweetheart, now a zombie, then at the chain in her hand,

Li An slammed the iron bucket back onto his head and said firmly, "There, you're just a zombie with an iron bucket on your head. You're not some filthy monster!"
