My Bastard Childhood Friend

Gu Mingzhao had wanted an older brother ever since she was little.

"Your big brother must have been thrown in the trash."

"Zhaozhao needs to drink more milk and grow taller so she can go find him."

Back then, Gu Mingzhao had a wonderfully innocent and passionate image of what having an older brother would be like.

Then the new neighbors across the hall came to visit with their son, and her eyes lit up. This was the big brother fate had chosen for her!

The boy had fair skin, rosy lips, and long, thick lashes. Apart from his rather sour expression, he was the most handsome boy Gu Mingzhao had ever seen.

So she immediately claimed him as family and wouldn't let go of his hand. "Big brother! Come home with Zhaozhao!"

But he looked her up and down and said, unhurriedly, "But I'm a year younger than you. Are you pretending to be cute?"

Gu Mingzhao's girlish heart died that very day. Even now, thinking about it sometimes made her furious enough to throw a few shadow punches at the air.

She wanted an older brother, but Heaven sent her an annoying little brother instead.

Her little brother grew up and became more and more of a menace. He even dared to hold her hand and ask with red-rimmed eyes, "Gu Zhaozhao, do you really not see me at all?"
