The Villainess I Root For

Li Ya is an obsessive fan of Lin En, the villainous Boss in the open-world game Night Roam. Because of her exemplary virtues:

When my fave dies, I pop champagne.

I use ugly pictures of my fave to ward off evil.

I savor my fave's defeats over and over.

She was rewarded by transmigrating into the real world of Night Roam.

Lin En is the heir to a duke's house, ruthless and villainous, with no end to his wicked deeds.

Perhaps it was karma. One morning, as he got out of bed, a woman who looked light but weighed as much as an iron weight fell from the sky and landed on him. His vision went black, and he nearly suffocated.

The human iron weight, Li Ya wearing fifty spiked metal pain badges, stared at him with shining eyes. She pinched his face wildly and shrieked, "My fave is alive! He's alive!"

But something about the Lin En before her didn't seem quite right.

A little thinner, a little shorter, and with a chubbier face.

Li Ya sensed that something was wrong.

The boy straightened his collar and rose gracefully. A ruby-inlaid dagger spun between his fingers, and his smile carried a chilling intent to kill. "Tell me, how do you want to die?"

At this point, there were still ten whole years before Lin En became the brooding, crawling-on-the-ground, double-door refrigerator in Li Ya's imagination.
