Spider Kill

Huai Zhi's body has been acting strange lately.

Her throat itches from time to time, and she feels so nauseated that she nearly retches, as if something is about to crawl up her esophagus.

Her appetite has surged, but she is never satisfied.

Especially when she sees that person, her throat turns parched. An uncontrollable desire seems to flutter its wings gently in her stomach, driving her nearly mad and making her obsess over him until she loses all reason.

Perhaps her illness has grown worse, but she chooses to let it run its course.

A monster named Insai escaped from the "Garden," leaving countless dead and wounded in its wake. Its venom carried an intense rose fragrance.

Ling Xu tracked Insai's movements and unexpectedly met a young woman named Huai Zhi.

As they spent their days together, they grew fond of each other and naturally became a couple.

Even after the incident was resolved, Insai's fragrance continued to linger.

One day, he caught a faint floral scent on his girlfriend.

Her slender fingers touched his cheek, and her gaze was tender.

"Darling, what are you looking for?"

I've been found.

I've been found. What do I do?

I've been found, I've been found, I've been found.

What do I do? I've been found, I've been found.

The one-line premise was just something I typed at random. It contains a lot of spiders, so enter with caution.

Includes a bit of narrative misdirection (not a very clever kind).

For the "Garden" and Insai settings, see the first story in Masked Boyfriend.

Theme: Give someone a rose, and its fragrance will linger on your hand.
