Teacher, Do You Take Requests?

The whole novel is complete! Could you please give it a five-star rating? ovo My other novel, The Anime Dog Trap, is now out. Come take a look! ovo Novel blurb: - A thread appeared late at night on the anime section of Green River Forum. [Help: I recently got lucky and commissioned a cosplayer I absolutely adore, but there are a few moments when I think he looks like my blind date. What should I do?] The replies were full of jokes, and the top-voted answer was: [This is a very serious matter. You have to find out who he is. Here's what you do: have him check your education history first.] - Bian Huai had a cosplayer he especially liked, Sanyan. He was tall and lean, with eight-pack abs, and could even pull off a latex bodysuit with ease. Every day, Bian Huai left suggestive comments under the cosplayer's new posts, but he never managed to win over the aloof man. Then, one day, after turning down the blind date his mother had arranged for him, his luck inexplicably took a turn for the better-- Sanyan, who never accepted commissions, made an exception and opened up for requests. Out of a crowd of people raising their hands, he picked Bian Huai. Bian Huai was stunned. He couldn't even snag the first spot in a comment section, yet he'd gotten Sanyan's very first commission. The heavens were treating him like their own grandson! - During the commission, Bian Huai's mother still wouldn't give up and wanted him to meet his blind date again. Unable to talk his mother out of it, Bian Huai could only ask Sanyan for help. "Could you pretend to be my boyfriend and meet my blind date?" Sanyan: ... - The buried thread was bumped back up by a new reply. [I'm screwed! What if the real person behind the commissioned cosplay is actually my blind date?!] After the post appeared, many people joined in to watch the drama. Some eagle-eyed users even identified the people involved just by matching the dates. One user even posted Bian Huai's past comments: [Teacher, I always lose when I play games. But after I saw you, I won several rounds in a row.] [Teacher, your cosplay isn't accurate enough, because you've only cosplayed. You haven't play-ed with me.] [Everyone else treats the teacher one way to his face and another behind his back. But I want to do thirteen rounds with the teacher in fourteen condoms.] Netizens: ... Wow! Xu Chengxun (Sanyan) x Bian Huai Reading Guide: 1. First love for both 2. Same-sex marriage is legal in this setting 3. Expect a high concentration of anime culture. The Anime Dog Trap Blurb: Insecure, withdrawn beauty top x Sunny, cheerful boy-next-door bottom Bian Cong's first impression of the transfer student in his class was that he was breathtakingly beautiful. That day, while listening to the teacher's introduction, he lifted his head from his manga for a moment and saw Fu Ye standing silently by the podium. His skin was so fair it was almost translucent, and he had an especially beautiful pair of eyes with butterfly-like lashes casting shadows over them. Before long, Bian Cong formed a second impression of him: pitiful. While passing an alley beside the school, Bian Cong saw Fu Ye being surrounded and shoved by students from another class. His gaze was lowered, and he didn't fight back. Countless scenes from hot-blooded anime suddenly flashed through Bian Cong's mind, so he rushed over and chased them away. Bian Cong rubbed his hands together, struggled to find the right words, then gave him a perfect eight-tooth smile. "It's okay. I'll protect you from now on." - Fu Ye had always thought he shouldn't have been born into this world. Nobody liked him, anyway, until he met Bian Cong. Bian Cong would stop people from bullying him, compliment him, and never judge his background. He even stood up for him when people said cruel things. Fu Ye thought there was no one in the world better than Bian Cong. He liked Bian Cong. It was fine if Bian Cong only liked long-haired anime girls. Fu Ye could cosplay according to Bian Cong's tastes. If he cosplayed more of the characters Bian Cong liked, maybe Bian Cong would come to like him a little more too. - In college, Bian Cong became a fan of a cosplayer. Every character this cosplayer portrayed was perfectly suited to his tastes. He was absolutely Bian Cong's type! Then, one day, Bian Cong excitedly showed Fu Ye those cosplay photos. He said that when he found a partner, he wanted to find an anime girl like that: someone who shared his interests and whose cosplay was incredibly accurate. Fu Ye fell silent for two seconds, then typed a line: "What if he's not a girl?" "Could you let your gaze linger on me a little longer?" Theme: Passion can carry you through the long years.
