Don't buy yet. Wait until it comes off paywall.
Ye Yuanjue is a little excited.
Five minutes ago, his cat knocked a strange game cartridge called Ning'en Town off the table while stretching. With nothing better to do, he put it into his game console, watched the opening cutscene, and pressed A on [NEW GAME].
Two minutes ago, as he looked at the old, empty green passenger train car and the endless darkness stretching beyond its windows, he began to suspect that he had somehow entered the game he'd just started.
Half a minute ago, a System appeared on him and told him that he would return to the real world after beating the game.

Ning'en Town is peaceful and quiet, untouched by the outside world. Its residents rise at dawn and rest at dusk.
But whenever an unknown midnight falls, the town slips into an abnormal state. Ordinary people fall into a deep, absolute sleep, unaware of everything around them, while the town's ordinary buildings transform and misshapen creatures roam inside them.
Only a handful of people in the entire town can stay awake on those strange nights. They fight the creatures with all their might.
They all pessimistically believe that this town has no future.
Until Ning'en High School welcomes a mysterious transfer student at the start of the new term.
He's smart, considerate, patient, gentle, strong, and capable of anything.
He brings hope of survival to the town.
-
After completing the main story, Ye Yuanjue returns to the real world, feeling wistful.
More than once, he tries to return to Ning'en Town, but the cartridge can no longer be read.
In September, as new university students arrive, Ye Yuanjue has just stepped through the campus gates when an elegant, long-fingered hand suddenly lands on his shoulder.
He turns around and finds his beloved from the game smiling at him. "Long time no see."
Their friends, who fought alongside them, follow behind, smiling as they greet him.
Reader's guide:
1. One-on-one romance, happy ending. The couple's bond is incredibly strong, and they're devoted to each other from the moment they meet. No breakups or role reversals. The other main characters are just friends with the protagonist. No love-polygon or harem drama.
2. The protagonist in the receiving role enters the game with an RPG System. The entire main cast follows a truly kind and good-hearted route, with lots of classic feel-good moments. The overall inspiration, time system, and UI draw on the Persona game series, with a few anime and gaming jokes. There are a huge number of original worldbuilding elements, an extreme case of chuunibyou, and a magical-boy transformation style. This is a story written purely to indulge my own tastes.
3. This is a place with no future without the protagonist. He is its one and only savior.
4. The balance of everyday life and combat is about 7:3, with more everyday life than fighting.
5. The first twelve chapters have been completely rewritten, so some comments may no longer match.
6. It gets a little heavy and angsty later on.
7. The one-line blurb uses a common anime and gaming meme.
Here's a new upcoming story, A Slime's Wasteland Settlement Guide.
Blurb↓↓↓
Bobo is a soft, white aurora slime, and the last slime in the world.
Because he's so rare, the big-shot monsters of the Endless Forest all treat him like a precious treasure.
Bobo lives a carefree life. He plays hide-and-seek with a young dragon by day, rolls around on the soft belly of a giant brown bear in the afternoon, and curls up at night in the warm feathers of a firebird.
Until disaster strikes, and dark pollution sweeps across the entire continent.
Water sources dry up, the land withers, and even the mighty monsters grow weak and helpless from the pollution.
Seeing his friends so listless, Bobo puffs out his chest. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you!"
Bobo may not be a powerful fighter, but he can take human form!
He transforms into a harmless-looking young man with silver hair and green eyes, hefts a heavy little bamboo basket, crosses the forest border, and sneaks into the busiest human market to learn some skills. On the way, he also rescues a "homeless man" from a borderland bog just as he's about to be consumed by pollution.
-
Lu Yan, the empire's marshal, is ambushed and falls into the wilderness. He thinks he'll become food for the monsters there. But when he wakes, he finds himself lying on a soft bed of hay, with a cold slime pressed firmly against his forehead, sucking out the pollution.
Around him, a ring of mighty monsters are working diligently in the fields:
A ferocious giant brown bear carefully turns over the hard black soil with its huge paws, clumsily scraping the dark patches out of the earth.
A short-tempered firebird gently raises its warm tail feathers, coaxing the seeds buried in the soil to sprout.
On the barren ruins, a green paradise belonging to the monsters rises from the ground.
-
Later, the human they rescued recovers. He uses human knowledge and technology to help build up the paradise.
Bobo puts his hands on his hips, thinking he's a genius: not only did he secretly learn human techniques, he also got himself an incredibly obedient and capable "big mount" for free.
It's just that this mount keeps wanting to have little slimes with him, which gives Bobo quite a headache.
But then again, he's the last slime in the world.
And he really does seem to like this big mount.
Well then... he supposes he'll agree, just this once!
Theme: Humanity can create limitless possibilities.
Ah?!! Ah!? Shocking and sad news 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 Madam, I can always wait for you 😭 😭 😭 Do you really want to give up on this article 😭 I really like the friends and the emotional line. It doesn't matter if the plot progresses faster, and it doesn't matter if I take a few years to come back and rewrite, wuwuwu I thought it was today's update, I haven't waited for xql to confess 😭 😭 😭
It's not like that. Clicking on it will give you a big shock 😭 😭 😭
Hahahahahahahaha sudden frankness
Don't kill our puppy! But I guess you should have skills after completing this dungeon!
I finished reading it today and realized that I was just in the mood for it, but it was gone, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
It's good to have a beginning and an end, I look forward to your next articleᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
It's too sudden. I still want to wait and see again TT
Oh no, but this plot summary is so good. The final return to reality and the subsequent parts are simply delicious! The big imagination is really delicious. I look forward to the new work!
The emotional line is quite natural, and the plot line doesn't feel repetitive yet? The p series has a fixed full moon/rainy night/ddl event every once in a while. The days go by, and the foreshadowing is buried bit by bit, and then suddenly explodes at a certain point, breaking the daily life, and the teenagers have to face the real world. Old p players will definitely feel like p when reading this article. Reading the previous comments, the teacher should have thought about the buried main line. It is a bit regretful that I did not see the follow-up. But it's understandable. After all, writing is not playing a game. Everyday things you take for granted in a game can easily become a running list in a novel...
It's very well written. I'm looking forward to the next book 😆
