He Picked Up a Yandere from Death Prison

Bai Yan is a body double, posing as Xie Yan, the young master of the Xie family who disappeared in an accident. He goes to Xunjin City to attend school in his place.

After half a year of swallowing his grievances and keeping the peace, Bai Yan finally saw the end in sight.

The real young master, missing for more than half a year, had returned.

With the real one back, there was naturally no further use for his stand-in.

As agreed with the Xie family, Bai Yan packed his things that very night, ready to flee.

·

Bai Yan didn't get away.

The Xie family broke their promise. At the real young master's single word, the fellow disciples who once called Bai Yan brother joined forces to tear out his heart and shatter his soul. They locked him in a death prison without a trace of light and tortured him mercilessly, all to please the real young master.

As he lay dying, Bai Yan saw a shaft of sunlight fall across him, like the last delusion of a man on the brink of death.

He never expected someone to push open the door of the death prison.

Yun Song, the lord of Xunjin City, was noble and distinguished, strikingly handsome and aloof, and so pure that he inspired reverence. Bai Yan had yearned for him on countless nights, but had never dared to presume to profane him.

He only dreamed that this cold moonlight might sometimes turn toward him, shining on him alone, if only for a moment.

Until that day, when sunlight poured into the damp darkness and the city lord came to stand before Bai Yan, who was barely alive.

He knelt before Bai Yan. His snow-white robes were soaked with mud and filthy blood, stained through with Bai Yan's marks, yet he didn't care at all.

He only held Bai Yan close, opened his blood-soaked clothes, and kissed and touched him little by little, coaxing him softly in a low voice.
