The Cat Says, I Want to See the Sea

She had lived alone for a very long time, so long that her world held no one but herself. She had never had anyone else in it.

One day, she met a cat. The cat said it wanted to take her to see the sea.

The cat said:

When your eyes have been veiled by mist for too long, you can no longer see the sunlight.

When your heart has been trapped in comfort for too long, it can no longer withstand the waves.

There will always be someone who loves you, who brings you brightness and joy. You will be that person's one and only, their whole world, the meaning of their life, the reason for everything they depend on, and their beloved. That person may be yourself.
