The Mirror Terrace

Historical danmei, monk top

Blurb: A civil official with plenty of talent but no favor from the imperial court

hears that sleeping with that pure and untainted Buddha's Son, whose beauty is like that of a god, can bring good fortune.

He wants to get ahead so badly that he goes for it.

He kisses him a couple of times, then gets promoted by a twist of fate.

Thinking it works, he wants to get ahead again.

So he goes back...

Monk and Imperial Preceptor top, pure in body and mind & petty official bottom, full of greed, hatred, and delusion, with the ambition of a wolf

Like a lotus untouched by water, like the sun and moon resting nowhere in the sky.

Theme: All things arise from conditions, and are empty in nature
