His Majesty's Bait X2

[If it opens as soon as possible, it’ll be in March. If it can’t open soon, it’ll be next year.]

Blurb:

When he hears that the emperor is a homosexual, Fu Rongyu is chosen by his family to attend to the emperor’s illness. The emperor has a cold, jade-like beauty, skin as pale as snow, and a reputation for killing without mercy.

When Fu Rongyu first enters the palace, he realizes his duties might include more than nursing the emperor back to health. He may have to share his bed, too (?)

The emperor summons him once. Fu Rongyu hesitates and asks, “Your Majesty, I don’t have to sleep with you, do I?”

The emperor, young and pure-looking, with sharp brows that sweep toward his temples: ?

Frowning, the emperor points to a daybed several meters away, his voice icy with disgust. “Stay away from me. I have no inclination toward men.”

So the rumors about his preferences were false! Relieved, Fu Rongyu curls up with his back to the emperor and goes to sleep.

Several months later...

Fu Rongyu, kissed until he’s short of breath, opens his bleary eyes and glares at the emperor.

The emperor’s second personality scowls and pinches his cheek. “Why are you glaring at me? Not satisfied?”

...The next morning, just as expected, Fu Rongyu wakes up on the floor with aches all over.

He meets the gaze of the emperor’s first personality, who looks at him as if he were already dead. This must be the one who threw him out of bed. He stares down at the kiss marks covering Fu Rongyu’s neck and says coldly, “You schemed to seduce him so you could climb into my bed?”

Fu Rongyu looks at him, at a loss for words. Your Majesty, why don’t your gay personality and straight-man personality fight it out?! What does any of this have to do with me?!

1. The love interest has a split personality.
