Quack Doctor Simulator [Steampunk]

[1]

White hair, a bulbous nose, all in black and wearing a pointed hat, brewing strangely colored potions in a filthy, pitch-dark basement.

That's me in other people's eyes.

Brown hair, blue eyes, all in white and never wearing jewelry, studying medicine in a sunlit forest cottage.

That's who I really am.

I'm baffled.

How did I, an utterly ordinary student doctor, end up being mistaken for an evil witch?

Panaceia, a medical student about to graduate, suddenly dies at a rare college banquet.

When she opens her eyes, she's in the ancient West, where medical and sanitary conditions are appalling.

And she has gone from a promising doctor-to-be to a witch everyone fears.

People are afraid of her, yet they have no choice but to submit to her "magic," sneaking over to ask her for medical treatment.

Panaceia: ?

Even more fantastical, she discovers that something really is a little off about her.

Why have all the little games she used to play loaded themselves onto her?!

An organ simulator that lets her hear her organs speak, a medicine simulator that tests the effects of medicinal ingredients, a surgery simulator... and more.

After a long period of reflection, Panaceia gives this collection of games a name:

Quack Doctor Simulator.

After all, she did drop out of medical school.

[At first, the world feared and dreaded me. Then it loved and respected me.

I refused medals, titles, flowers, and statues.

If you truly wish to commemorate me, do so with a laurel wreath, a medical text, and a caduceus.]

*My take on steampunk and Western fantasy

*The games used as references are listed in Chapter One.

*No-couple heroine story. The heroine sees everyone as comrades on her journey toward medicine.

*Atypical medicine, unrelated to reality. Please don't scrutinize it for accuracy.
