Once This Battle’s Over, I’m Going Home to Get Married

Blurb:

Hyde is an actor in a theater troupe in Florence, as beautiful as Helen of Troy.

With war between the Empire and the Federation looming, Florence may be a neutral papal state, but it cannot avoid being drawn into the conflict.

Hyde is talented, and decides to give up acting and enlist in the Empire's military, becoming a mecha pilot and striving to rise above the rest.

But his lover, Cizel, is an ordinary person who only wants to live a happy, peaceful life with him. Hyde is deeply conflicted.

Cizel is the son abandoned by the Empire, the avenging prince from Hamlet. Now a Federation general, he secretly works in Florence gathering intelligence on the region.

The Federation has shown him the light of freedom and democracy, while Hyde has let him feel the warmth of love and peace.

He will spend his life fighting for freedom and the one he loves.

Hyde is gentle, kind, and extraordinarily beautiful. Cizel has never told him who he really is, afraid it would frighten him.

The Song of the Nibelungs is performed, the twilight of the gods draws near, and the Empire and Federation prepare for their decisive battle.

Before the battleship departs, Hyde turns tenderly to his lover, who has come to see him off.
