My Desk Mate Is a Superstar with Superpowers

Luo Zhizhen thought his deskmate was really strange.

He never talked or socialized with anyone. He wore a mask and black-rimmed glasses all day, and his bangs were so long they hid the upper half of his face.

His deskmate must be a loner and hide his face because he's got something painful he can't talk about.

Guided by the principle that classmates should help each other, Luo Zhizhen looked after his deskmate every chance he got and did his best to help him fit in with the class.

Then, one day...

Monsters invaded the school. At the height of the crisis, his deskmate took off his mask and glasses, revealing the stunning face of a star who was all the rage in the entertainment industry. Then, with brutal efficiency, he stomped a monster to death.

White smoke billowed as the boy stood tall within it, beautiful and solitary.

Luo Zhizhen: "?!"

My gloomy deskmate is actually that wildly popular top-tier star?!

Wait, wait, wait. Why does he have superpowers, too?!

-

Geng Xiu was sick to death of his deskmate.

He was exhausted. He studied during the day, worked at night, and spent his free time fighting monsters and saving the world.

All he wanted was to get through school quietly, on his own.

But his deskmate was always trying to pull him into the class and constantly egging him on to take off his mask.

Luo Zhizhen: "A Xiu, you need to be confident. You look your best when you're confident!"

Geng Xiu: "..."

That day, a monster appeared at a concert.

Geng Xiu was about to step in when, the next second, Luo Zhizhen spread a pair of bat wings below the stage. Flames from the abyss instantly burned the monster to ash.

The flames blazed as the boy stood concealed within them, eerie and dazzling.

Geng Xiu: "?"

My annoying deskmate is actually a demon?
