I'm a Hired Hand, Yet My Childhood Friend Can't Get Enough of Me [Detective Conan/Magic Kaito]

I've been in this world for several years now.

I just don't know how things ended up like this.

Right now, two little boys each have one of my hands, while my expression is so peaceful I look like I've ascended to heaven.

My neighbor, little Kuroba, who had arranged to go to the amusement park with me but got stood up when I ditched him halfway through: "Who is he! Cheng! You cheating cat, get lost!"

Little Kudo, who solved a sudden case with me: "You're the cheating cat! Cheng is my friend now!"

The black-haired, blue-eyed police officer beside us, handling the aftermath of the incident, seemed unable to hold back a laugh.

Kuroba's father and Kudo's father, who had just arrived, couldn't hold back either.

Your A-Cheng is surrounded by black-haired, blue-eyed people.

Somebody save me, somebody save me, somebody save me.

Before reading, please note:

1. Everyone survives in their own natural way, with no rescue or intervention. The story focuses on the teenagers.

2. Other than the parents' romance, there are no couples in this story, canon couples included. I will absolutely not bash anyone.

3. There will be teasing jokes such as "You pervert" and "Are you in love with that girl?"

4. Firmly on the good guys' side, no undercover agents. The good guys will win, but this will most likely be glossed over. The protagonist's fighting ability is very flexible. There will be scenes of the protagonist brawling with villains or attackers armed with guns using a chair (?); for reference, think Jackie Chan, the reassuring action hero.

5. Important content warning.

Since I really dislike the current state of the women in the series, I'll change some anime characters' dialogue and arguments. For example, in the anime, Sera Masumi says to Okiya Subaru, "I'll become more feminine."

I'll change it to a defiant declaration like, "Whether it's masculinity or femininity, those are labels defined by society. You don't think I'll let you put me in that box, do you?"

I'll also change some settings that I think are strongly from a male-centered perspective.

This crap about women being on the outside and men on the inside is out of fashion, you old fossil!

6. Check out my column and run, run!

Theme: I want to write a youth ensemble story where everyone is friends, with an extremely strong possessiveness that means nobody will ever let someone else take their friends away.
