The return-to-China arc, *A Guide to the Western Fantasy Races in China*, is complete.
Blurb:
This world favors humanity. When humans need gods, the world allows gods to appear. When humans no longer need them, the world shuts them out.
Zhang Yufei is the heir to an ancient cultivation sect in the East.
He goes to London as an exchange student for a year.
But the Wizards' Association, unable to tell the difference between a cultivator's lineage and a wizard's bloodline, insists that he attend a magic university.
At heart, though, he's still an ordinary human.
The school is great.
His classmates are friendly, too.
It's just that a lot of them act a little strange around him.
The vampires covet his blood.
"Hey, classmate, you smell so good. Can I have a little taste?"
"Hey, classmate, you're bleeding. Let me lick it for you."
Zhang Yufei coolly takes out a talisman and sticks a Peach Blossom Talisman on each classmate who's harboring improper intentions toward him.
Go find someone to date. Stop bothering him.
The dragons are always trying to take care of fragile humans.
"Human, would you like some fruit?"
"Human, here's a gemstone for you. I'll give you this outfit, too."
"Human, you'll get hurt like this."
Zhang Yufei watches the enormous creatures fuss over him every day, poring over a guide to raising humans. He kills a monster with one thrust of his sword and makes it clear he doesn't need them to spend money raising him.
His wizard classmates are always trying to get themselves killed.
"Zhang, if summoning a god for divination is so likely to fail, why don't we try a spirit-writing session?"
"Zhang, the adventure club found a new ruin. Want to explore it together?"
Bonus scene 1:
Not long after term starts, during a divination class.
The instructor is amazed by the divination techniques of the Mystic Arts and asks earnestly, "Zhang, can I learn your sect's divination?"
"Sure."
Then, the following week, Zhang Yufei learns from the head of student affairs that the divination instructor has resigned, gone abroad, and headed to the Mystic Arts to find a master and study the craft.
With no choice but to fill in as the divination instructor, Zhang Yufei says:
"Today, I'll teach everyone how to summon a righteous god for divination."
But to everyone's surprise, after their attempts to summon a god fail, his classmates choose to summon a spirit through automatic writing instead.
Bonus scene 2:
During a practical class on dragon growth and health,
Zhang Yufei looks at the books in his classmates' hands: *How to Give First Aid When a Human Is Accidentally Injured*, *How to Improve Human Safety Awareness*, *A Young Woman's Devotion: The Love Between a Human and a Dragon*, and *My Romantic Date with a Dragon: The Boy's First Flutter of the Heart*.
What kind of shop is selling these ridiculous books to the dragons?
Other people's college lives are filled with thrilling adventures.
Zhang Yufei's college life is all about following the rules, avoiding unstable elements, and cracking down on illegal publications.
(These two lines come from a comment by reader gdhhdbdgvdn on Chapter 30.)
The serious blurb:
Through an unexpected twist of fate, Zhang Yufei comes to study at a magic university because of his sect's legacy.
While visiting the beastfolk to take part in a sacrificial ceremony, he finds a crystal ball.
Through a series of strange coincidences, he embarks on a new adventure.
(P.S. The protagonist isn't a lady-killer, but he is everyone's favorite. After all, a lady-killer wouldn't have such an ordinary name. The school isn't exclusively for wizards, either. It includes all kinds of races.)
Western fantasy + magic + cultivation fantasy + *Classic of Mountains and Seas* + more
If you ask Zhang Yufei what it's like to study at a magic university, he'll tell you the university is great and every day feels magical.
My new romance novel, *When Two Overpowered Heroes Meet*, is currently updating.
[Modern technology and cultivation + Western fantasy]
Lin Qingxuan is the eldest disciple of the Sword Sect and a cultivator at the Tribulation Transcendence stage.
He revealed his spiritual root as a child and entered an immortal sect, but after he failed to break through to the first level of Qi Refining, he was expelled.
When he was young, no immortal sect would take him in, so he wandered for over two years before the Sword Sect finally accepted him as a disciple.
As a young man, after years of painstaking training, he finally managed to establish his Foundation. But when he reached the Sword Tomb, all he got was a rusty iron sword.
When he had achieved fame and success, he should have ascended to the greater world after surviving the tribulation, but a collision between minor worlds cut off his path to ascension.
He's the standard underdog protagonist who makes a comeback through sheer strength.
Krilos is a devotee of the God of Time and a revered holy son of the church.
As the various races of the Menger Continent vie for power, he masterminds one plan after another, effortlessly resolving the church's troubles and securing ever greater benefits for it.
He's the standard protagonist of a political intrigue story, defeating his enemies through cunning.
A collision between minor worlds creates a passage between the Yunlin Continent and the Menger Continent.
Lin Qingxuan accepts an invitation from Delkri University to further his own aims, and travels to the Menger Continent.
To find out why Lin Qingxuan came, Krilos disguises himself as an impoverished, down-on-his-luck nobleman and takes a job as a music teacher at Delkri University.
After arriving on the Menger Continent, Lin Qingxuan keeps everyone at a distance and treats them coldly. But he never expects someone to shamelessly keep showing up in front of him every day.
"I've admired you for a long time, immortal master. I'm willing to follow you and serve you at all times." The blond man in the worn-out cloak gazes at him ardently, his expression sincere.
Lin Qingxuan has lived for over two hundred years. How could he fail to see that the man before him was putting on an act? If hurting him wouldn't cause a heap of trouble, Lin Qingxuan would probably have ended him with a single sword strike.
Thinking that having a local companion might help mislead other people, Lin Qingxuan calmly says, "Then I'll grant your wish."
But as they continue acting, it's as if the two of them have somehow switched roles.
To achieve his own aims, Lin Qingxuan has no choice but to keep thinking up new plans.
To investigate Lin Qingxuan's motives, Krilos has no choice but to rush to the front whenever Lin Qingxuan is in danger.
[Lin Qingxuan (coolly): Let's see how long this shameless man can keep up the act.]
[Krilos (wavering): Could he really have come here just to suppress his cultivation?]
P.S.:
The Yunlin Continent is a cultivation world, while the Menger Continent is a Western fantasy world.
Since both protagonists are the strongest in their respective minor worlds, the story uses a switch dynamic.
Feel free to leave suggestions in the comments. I'll take positive feedback to heart and make improvements.
The pace isn't fast. The early chapters lean toward political intrigue, so this isn't a power-leveling wish-fulfillment story.
I'm reliable about finishing my novels. Once it goes premium, I'll definitely see it through to the end.
(I'm trying to write an ensemble cast, but there's a good chance my writing skills aren't up to the task, so it may not feel like one.)
Theme: Life is full of wonderful, unexpected connections
I was deeply impressed by the sentence in the previous article: You have turned yourself into a skeleton, no matter how you think about it, your IQ will not be too high.
I didn't expect that the entire sect was so poor that they had to rely on underage Huang Jiu for subsidies.
The West: Resist the Oriental King's rectification of the workplace
Tsk, tut, this remark, this tone, just pamper Xiao Zhang!
The returning chapter "Western Fantasy Rules for All Races to Come to China" has been completed, and the same type of pure love story "After the Two Long Aotian Encountered" is being serialized.
Sir Luo Jin: Zhang, can you also lift high?
This sect is so poor that all the good demons have their hair plucked hahahaha (bushi)
I can only slap my thigh and say: What a sin!
Ha
Damn, can you mention all the unsolved problems in this book in your daily work, such as the main room of the pyramid, is the sword returned or something...
