The author has completed The Eastern Exchange Student at the Magic University and Rules for the Western Fantasy Races Visiting China
[Immortal Cultivation + Western Fantasy]
Lin Qingxuan is the Sword Sect's chief disciple, a cultivator at the Tribulation Transcendence stage.
He was found to have a spiritual root as a child and entered an immortal sect, but was expelled when he failed to break through to the first level of Qi Refining.
As a teenager, with no immortal sect willing to take him in, he wandered for more than two years before the Sword Sect finally accepted him as a disciple.
As a young man, he finally succeeded in establishing his foundation through relentless practice, only to find a rusty iron sword in the Sword Tomb.
When he achieved fame and success, he should have ascended to the Greater World after surviving the lightning tribulation. But a collision between minor worlds severed his path to ascension.
He is the classic underdog protagonist who rises to the top, letting his strength speak for itself.
Krilos is a follower of the God of Time and a highly revered holy son of the church.
As the factions of the various races on the Monger Continent vie for power, he plans ahead and deftly resolves one crisis after another for the church, continually securing it greater benefits.
He is the classic protagonist of a political intrigue story, defeating his opponents through strategy.
A collision between minor worlds opened a passage between the Yunlin Continent and the Monger Continent.
Lin Qingxuan accepted an invitation from Delkri University for his own purposes and traveled to the Monger Continent.
To find out why Lin Qingxuan had come, Krilos disguised himself as an impoverished noble fallen on hard times and took a job as a music teacher at Delkri University.
After arriving on the Monger Continent, Lin Qingxuan was distant and aloof toward everyone. He never expected someone to shamelessly keep showing up in front of him every single day.
Lin Qingxuan had lived for more than two hundred years. How could he fail to realize that the man before him was putting on an act? If attacking him wouldn't cause so much trouble, Lin Qingxuan would probably have ended him with a single sword strike.
When he realized having a local at his side might mislead other people, Lin Qingxuan silently played along.
But as they kept acting, it seemed as if the two of them had switched scripts.
To achieve his own goals, Lin Qingxuan had no choice but to keep thinking up plans.
Meanwhile, to investigate Lin Qingxuan's motives, Krilos had no choice but to charge to the front whenever Lin Qingxuan was in danger.
[Lin Qingxuan, giving him a cold look: Let's see how long this shameless man can keep up the act.]
[Krilos, wavering: Could he really have come here just to suppress his cultivation?]
PS:
The Yunlin Continent is a cultivation world, while the Monger Continent is a Western fantasy world.
If you have suggestions, please leave a comment. I'll accept constructive feedback and make corrections.
The pace is not fast, and the early chapters lean toward political intrigue. This is not a power-leveling wish-fulfillment story.
The author is reliable. Once the story goes premium, it will definitely be completed properly.
(I'm trying to write an ensemble cast, but there's a good chance it won't feel like one because I'm not skilled enough.)
A quick plug for my completed no-romance novel told from a male protagonist's perspective:
The Eastern Exchange Student at the Magic University
This world favors humanity. When humans need gods, the world allows gods to appear. When humans no longer need gods, the world shuts them out.
Zhang Yufei is the heir to an ancient Eastern cultivation sect.
He goes to London as an exchange student for a year.
But the Witch Association, unable to tell the difference between the legacy of cultivators and the bloodline of wizards, insists that he attend a magic university.
At heart, though, he is still just an ordinary human.
The school is great.
His classmates are friendly, too.
It's just that many of them act a little strangely around him.
The vampires covet his blood.
"Hey, classmate, you smell delicious. Can I have a little bite?"
"Hey, classmate, you're bleeding. I'll just lick it for you."
Zhang Yufei coolly pulls out talismans and sticks a Peach Blossom Talisman on each classmate with ill intentions toward him.
Go fall in love. Stop bothering him.
The dragons are always trying to look after fragile humans.
"Human, would you like some fruit?"
"Human, here's a gem for you. You can have this outfit, too."
"Human, you'll get hurt if you do that."
Watching the huge creatures fuss over him every day and pore over a manual on how to raise humans, Zhang Yufei kills a monster with one sword strike to show them he doesn't need them to spend a fortune raising him.
His wizard classmates are always trying to get themselves killed.
"Zhang, since summoning a god for divination often fails, why don't we summon a pencil spirit instead?"
"Zhang, the adventure club found a new ruin. Want to go explore it together?"
Vignette One:
During a divination class, not long after the semester began,
the instructor, amazed by the divination techniques of the Mystic Arts School, sincerely asked, "Zhang, can I learn your school's divination methods?"
"Sure."
So the following week, Zhang Yufei learned from the head of discipline that the divination instructor had resigned, gone abroad, and traveled to the Mystic Arts School to study under a master.
Left with no choice but to teach divination himself for the time being, Zhang Yufei said:
"Today, I'll teach everyone how to summon a benevolent god for divination."
But, to everyone's surprise, when their attempts at summoning a god failed, his classmates chose to summon a pencil spirit instead.
Vignette Two:
During an internship for the Dragon Clan Growth and Health course,
Zhang Yufei looked at the books in his classmates' hands: How to Give Emergency First Aid to an Injured Human, How to Improve Human Safety Awareness, A Maiden's Favor: The Love Between a Human and a Dragon, and My Romantic Date with the Dragon Clan: A Boy's Heart-Pounding Moment.
Which shop was selling this ridiculous assortment of books to the dragons?
Other people's college lives are full of thrilling adventures,
while Zhang Yufei's college life consists of obeying the rules, avoiding unstable factors, and cracking down on illegal publications.
(These two lines came from a comment left by reader gdhhdbdgvdn in Chapter 30.)
The serious blurb:
Because of his sect's legacy, Zhang Yufei unexpectedly ends up studying at a magic university.
While traveling to the Beastfolk for a sacrificial ceremony, he finds a crystal ball.
Through a series of coincidences and lucky encounters, he sets off on a new adventure.
(PS: The protagonist isn't irresistible to everyone, but he is doted on by the whole group. After all, someone irresistible to everyone wouldn't have such an ordinary name. The school isn't just for wizards, either. It has students from all races.)
Western fantasy + magic + xuanhuan + Classic of Mountains and Seas + more
If you ask Zhang Yufei what it's like to study at a magic university, he'll tell you the university is great and every day feels like a fantasy.
Theme: When you encounter a problem, figure out how to solve it.
By then, the three of them won't be rumored to be a love triangle, right?
The Holy Son was poked at a painful point
Finally something happened [dog head] looks good
Sorry, the relationship part is too bluntly written. How can someone express their feelings to each other without a group of people watching?
Ke Bao, since ancient times, those who wear vests to pursue the one they love will not end well. Take off your vests quickly.
I have a bold idea. The pampered Meng Dalu chose not to be an attendant, but to be used to serve and sleep with~
Wouldn't it be revealed if time went backwards?
Lin Qingxuan: Miss my external brain ing
It's really ridiculous to be sealed by your own god.
The day after the absence of the Holy Son, the Holy Son living in memories
