Lady Lin Daiyu of the Rivers [Historical Crossover]

Lin Daiyu never imagined she would get another chance.

She couldn't remember what she had been thinking before she died. She only remembered petals falling all around her. One drifted into the river and was swept away by the rushing current, just like her, alone and without anyone to rely on.

If she could, she wanted to experience a different kind of life...

*

When the current carried her to one unfamiliar era after another, she seized her chance.

The river carried her far away, and waiting for her was not just loneliness, but a vast world and all the different lives she had never seen before.

*

“Should I cross the Yellow River?” Li Qingzhao asked Lin Daiyu, looking at the murky waters before her.

*

“I swear by the Luo River...” The voices from across the ages overlapped, like waves crashing against the shore.

*

“These are the Dujiangyan, Zhengguo Canal, and Lingqu Canal!” Stones tumbled down the cliff. The structure carved by human hands calmed the raging river.

*

“What are you writing?” A nameless little girl leaned over to look at the notebook in Daiyu's hands. “I know this character. You taught it to us yesterday. You're writing down this river. It didn't have a name before.”

Daiyu closed the book. “I'm writing down more than rivers. I'm writing down all of you, too.”

“Us? What is there to write about us?”
