Children of Light are a flying race born from the flames of light. Their dark bodies, silvery-white hair, and blazing inner flame form the most basic shape of life.

They are born to atone, to save, and to love.

These tiny humanoid beings tirelessly journey day after day,

gathering the scattered candle flames from every corner of the world and collecting the light wings that drift in every direction.

Then they race to the finish, giving everything they have to awaken the ancestors who were once sealed away and send them back to the heavens.

After that, they return and begin again...

"Hello, I'm a Child of Light. Would you like some of my heart's flame?"

"Or perhaps you'd give me a hug."

"The heart's flame will never disappear."

1. The entire story is written in the second person.

2. No paid chapters, updates whenever the author feels like it.

3. Lots and lots and lots of headcanon. You could call it a child-rearing story, if you really wanted to.

4. Everyday life between Children of Light and superheroes. Feel free to help yourself to some sweetness.
