A story about life in an ordinary Wayne family in a world without superheroes or supervillains.
...All right, the Wayne family could never be ordinary.
Not in any world.
Vesper Wayne, a Wayne kid through and through.
A genius, mysterious, and never one to follow the beaten path.
No one knows why, apart from the current head of the family, none of the Wayne kids will just settle down as trust-fund babies, making headlines every day and keeping all of Gotham's tabloids in business.
"So what does this Wayne do?"
"That's the question. Apart from the Wayne who went completely against type and became a journalist, only God knows what they all do!"
-
Vesper thinks she's pretty ordinary, after all, she's surrounded by family and friends who are all more outrageous than the last.
Honestly, when your father is a playboy who loves making headlines while pretending to be a private detective, it's only natural to have siblings who are soldiers, mercenaries, war correspondents, police officers, combat instructors, corporate executives working themselves to the bone, and gifted middle school students.
And when you're born into such a remarkable family, it's just as natural to have friends who are a forensic pathologist who's lived for over two hundred years, a master thief who roams the world and keeps getting caught, a mysterious friend who can "read your mind," and a masked friend who's a soldier...
"No matter how you look at it, I'm just an unremarkable psychologist."
She evaluated herself with perfect composure.
The countless villains who've had their heads pounded in by her have nothing to say about that.

(Please read carefully)
1. The female lead has no romantic pairing. Family and friendship are the focus, with the emphasis on the unrestrained, deliciously platonic relationships of Western media.
2. This story does not include the traditional superhero setting. This is a heavily reimagined version of the Wayne family, crossing over with other obscure, moderately popular, and popular (debatably) British and American TV shows. It does not include the traditional settings of Marvel or DC, so please take note.
3. The author is an old-school fanfiction writer. The motto is, whether it's good or not, just eat it first, but this story will not pair characters who aren't canon couples.
However, this is a British and American crossover fanfiction, and the author won't avoid the canon relationships between characters. Therefore, this story may feature canon BG, GB, BL, and even GL pairings (and depictions of their related character dynamics and storylines), and there's no guarantee how much page time they'll get. Please take note!
4. Characters from all kinds of British and American shows may appear at random, but just because they show up doesn't mean they'll have a big role. They might only drop by for a bit. Feel free to look for Easter eggs.
5. Fanfiction inevitably involves some degree of OOC characterization. This story crosses over with a whole bunch of shows, so it has a mountain of headcanons. Please take note before reading.
Everyone has their own tastes, so if you find yourself not enjoying the story, please feel free to stop reading in time. Of course, if I've misunderstood the source material or its characters, you're welcome to point it out. I'll correct any mistakes and explain my headcanons. Friendly discussion is welcome in the comments.
